Artists who preserve and promote Punjabi cultural varieties will be honored with "Virsa Punjab Pride Award"

Artists who have played an important role in preserving the heritage of Punjab and promoting it globally are being honored with the -Virsa Punjab Pride Award-, this is being organized on February 18th at Swami Vivekananda Group of Colleges, Banur - Rajpura Road. 

Giving more information in this regard, Monika Ghai - the organizer who is leading this event, said that these personalities are being honored with the award during this event. The young generation will be able to get inspiration to connect with their roots and teach them to be proud of their heritage, Monika further said that the main objective of the Virsa Punjab Pride Award is to honor those individuals who have made a significant contribution to making Punjabi culture proud at the global level. 

She said that to revive the pride and feeling towards Punjabi traditions among the young generation, to provide a cultural platform where Punjabi heritage can be shown through music, the organizers of the program Hardeep Singh and Madam Monika further said that the final touches are being given to the preparations related to this event. 

Madam Monika further informed that the artists presenting various cultural genres during this event included Mohammad Sadiq, Sanjeev Khanna-Secretary BJP Punjab Harisukhinder Singh Babbi Badal, film artist Sonia Mann, Bhangra coach Balwinder Singh Guru, Yudhveer Manak, Darshan Aulakh, Shamsher Sandhu, Hardeep Gill, Charanjit Ahuja, Neena Bundel, Girja Shankar, Sukhi Brar, Sunita Dhir, Masha Ali and many other prominent personalities.
