Story And Screenplay - Hoshiar Singh Movie Review
The story of the film revolves around Hoshiar Singh played by Satinder Sartaaj who in every situation questions the situation he is in. Growing up he himself decides to become a teacher determined to find students who think like him but fails. What actually he did and the message that parents and students will get will be displayed in the film.
Screenplay of the movie is not convincing with songs popping at the moments where it should not have appeared ruining the pace and interest of the film.

Hoshiar Singh is the first Punjabi film with 85 actors. Satinder Sartaaj Shines in the role of Hosiar Singh who was accompanied by Simi Chahal and Rana Ranbir. Parkash Gadhu in a unique avatar connects with his powerful performance. The child artists also deliver exceptional performances, adding depth to the film.
In managing this huge star cast talents like Sukhwinder Chahal, Deepak Niaz and Honey Mattui felt wasted. Rest of the cast completely supported each other to give a smooth experience in the film.

Director Uday Pratap Singh who was impressive with his last directorial Shayad did a fair job but looked fussy in managing talented actors.
Writer Jagdeep Singh Warring has written a meaningful script with a beautiful message to take away. The best part in the script was the inclusion of Vikas Divyakirti, adding depth and significance to the narrative.

The music of Hoshiar Singh perfectly complements the film narrative with a soulful blend of different melodies. The soundtrack enhances the storytelling in the later half of the film but did ruin it in the first half as the placements of the songs were not appropriate in the film.
