Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria honoured 105 individuals from various walks of life for their exceptional services during the state-level Republic Day celebration. The honorees included Former IAS Officer Capt. Narinder Singh, International Tennis Champion Jaskaran Singh,International Soft Tennis Champion Parteek Singh, International player Jarnail Singh Garcha, Dr. Bharat Dua, Ajitpal Singh, Shaffy Makkar , Manjit Kaur, Assistant Agriculture Engineer Amanpreet Singh  Pujan Chabra, Constables from the Sadak Surakhya Force: Satsimran Singh, Gurjashan Singh, Ajay Parocha, Arshdeep Singh, Luvpreet Singh, Keshav Kumar, Harsimranjeet Singh, Babbu Singh, Hardev Singh, Sandeep Kaur, Kanwaljeet Singh, Gagandeep Maudgill, Ranvir Singh, Gurjinder Singh, Jaswinder Kaur, and Surinder Singh.
