On the occasion of 75th Republic Day, Bharatiya Janata Party started Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan at the national level from 11 January to 25 January in memory of the Constitution makers, BJP Chandigarh Pradesh also organized a program on 25.01.25 at the party office Kamalam Sector 33 in which former Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Honorable Shri Vijay Sampla ji was the keynote speaker.
The program coordinator Advocate Amit Khairwal ji said that the purpose of running the "Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan" is to pay tribute to all the Constitution makers, especially Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji, due to whose efforts the provision of economic, social justice and equality in the Constitution became possible. He said that BJP Chandigarh Pradesh organized this program in all the districts and mandals in Chandigarh.
State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra Ji told how the Bharatiya Janata Party is working as a Constitution Guard under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister. Declaring 26 November as Constitution Day and 6 December as Mahaparinirvan Day also shows this.
The keynote speaker Mr. Vijay Sampla said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is dedicated to the Constitution and respects its Constitution makers. He told how the Bharatiya Janata Party is developing five places related to the life of the Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar as "Panch Teerth", whereas Baba Saheb was insulted many times during the Congress period.
He said that many Congress leaders gave themselves Bharat Ratna in their lifetime, while Baba Saheb, who is actually a Bharat Ratna, was deprived of this honor. Addressing the workers, he said that the Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan should be run till the booth level this year and everyone should be informed about the contribution of the Constitution makers and especially Dr. Ambedkar.
Vice President Rambir Bhatti, former president Sanjay Tandon, Arun Sood, state spokesperson and front in-charge Naresh Arora, state secretary Deepak Malhotra, councilor Manoj Sonkar, Sanjay Tank, Vicky Shera, Sonia Duggal were present in the program.
