A District Level Committee (DLC) meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, to review and strategize the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district.

The meeting witnessed participation from senior officers, experts, and stakeholders from the agriculture and allied sectors. During the meeting, the DC emphasized the importance of achieving the set targets under HADP to enhance agricultural productivity, promote sustainable practices, and uplift the socio-economic conditions of farmers in the district.

Comprehensive discussions were held on various components of the plan, including capacity-building initiatives, infrastructure development, and ensuring 100% coverage of eligible beneficiaries.

The DC directed concerned departments to work in close coordination to address implementation challenges and expedite ongoing projects. He also stressed on creating awareness among farmers about the benefits of HADP and adopting innovative techniques to improve yield and profitability.

Key decisions taken during the meeting included setting timelines for specific projects, allocating resources efficiently, and conducting regular field inspections to monitor progress. The committee resolved to ensure timely execution of all initiatives and maximize the impact of the plan on ground.
