In recognition of exceptional contributions to technology and innovation, Tanishq, a first-year B.Tech student in Computer Science and Engineering at Lovely Professional University (LPU) and founder of Kaizel Industries, has been invited to attend India’s 76th Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path on January 26, 2025.

The invitation, extended by Startup India on the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) recommendation, acknowledges Tanishq’s significant role in advancing key government initiatives.

This year’s Republic Day theme, “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas,” will celebrate India’s rich heritage and its future growth, with nearly 10,000 special guests set to be invited to witness the momentous occasion.

As the founder of Kaizel Industries, Tanishq secured ₹1.2 crore in seed funding from the M3M Foundation, successfully overcoming significant technical and resource challenges. Under his leadership, Kaizel Industries has grown to a valuation of ₹3 crores, driven by a mission to leverage cutting-edge technology for societal betterment.

One of the company’s most groundbreaking innovations is an AI-integrated medical assistance drone, which is revolutionizing emergency healthcare. This drone has the potential to deliver critical medical supplies to remote and underserved regions, drastically improving access to life-saving resources and transforming healthcare delivery in these areas.

Tanishq has achieved remarkable success in the fields of drone technology and the Robot Operating System (ROS). His entrepreneurial journey, driven by a deep commitment to solving real-world challenges through innovation, has earned him over 150+ national awards and certifications, including prestigious recognition from the Indian Army.

His pioneering work also led to his selection as the team leader representing India at the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) 2024 in Alabama, USA, where he collaborated with leading global innovators.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU lauded Tanishq’s remarkable achievements, stating, “This recognition exemplifies LPU’s vision of staying ahead of the curve in shaping future leaders.

LPU empowers students to innovate and excel, not just through traditional education, but by offering dynamic, real-world learning experiences. With the EduRevolution initiative, LPU goes beyond conventional classrooms, providing students with opportunities to collaborate with industry leaders, engage in practical learning, and receive mentorship.

This approach ensures they are equipped with the skills and experiences needed to thrive in real-world environments and succeed beyond the classroom." Reflecting on this honor, Tanishq expressed, “I am deeply grateful to the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and Startup India for this incredible opportunity to attend the Republic Day parade.

I am also thankful to LPU for their constant support throughout my journey. This recognition further inspires me to work towards the betterment of our nation.”
