MLA SAS Nagar, Kulwant Singh laid the foundation stone for a road widening project from Bathlana to Gudana, a 2.5-kilometre link road that will be widened from 10 feet to 18 feet. The project, valued at Rs. 60 lakh, will be funded by the Punjab Marketing Board and completed by the Public Works Department within four months.
According to MLA Kulwant Singh, this project will benefit the residents, fulfilling their long-standing demand for a wider road. He said, "Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's vision for Punjab focuses on achieving all-round development while maintaining communal harmony, which is crucial for the state's growth."
"Under Mann's leadership, Punjab has seen significant growth in various fields, including education and healthcare", he said by adding that the state government has prioritized improving village school buildings, constructing new schools, and recruiting teachers. Additionally, Aam Aadmi Clinics have been established to provide better healthcare services to the people.
