As the New Year dawns, Moga Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal has outlined his ambitious vision for the district's future, inviting residents to contribute their ideas and suggestions. For this, he has planned to invite suggestions and ideas from district residents so that a roadmap could be prepared to make Moga a developed district in all aspects of the country.

He said that the Punjab government periodically seeks suggestions from each district regarding the development works and works to be done in the future. Since Moga has also been made an aspirational district by NITI Aayog, NITI Aayog also seeks suggestions from time to time regarding some projects.

Earlier, these suggestions were sent by the district administration. But now the district administration would like to take suggestions from the residents of the district regarding this. People will be asked what kind of development works they want to get done.

Proposals will be made only after keeping all the suggestions in mind. The Deputy Commissioner said that he wants to do such work that Moga district becomes an all-round developed district in the next 25 years (by 2050) and shines in the entire country.

While talking about his vision, he said that vision was built on three core pillars: sustainable development, inclusive growth, and participatory governance. The aim is to create a district that is economically vibrant, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable over the next 25 years.

"We want to create a district where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and social services," said Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal. "A district that is powered by renewable energy, with green infrastructure and conservation of natural resources.

We invite all residents to join us in shaping this vision and making it a reality." To achieve this vision, the District Administration will soon launch a campaign to seek ideas and feedback from residents.

The campaign will focus on three key areas like Improving infrastructure to support economic growth and social development, Enhancing public services to meet the needs of the diverse community, Protecting the environment for future generations.

He said that residents would be encouraged to participate in the campaign and share their thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. "We believe that the collective wisdom of our residents will help us create a brighter future for our district," added Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal. "We look forward to hearing your ideas and working together to make our vision a reality."
