Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and President of the BJP Mahila Morcha Punjab, Jai Inder Kaur today strongly condemned the Aam Aadmi Party's 5 poll guarantees for Patiala MC elections and termed them as new packaging, old contents. In a statement released here Jai Inder Kaur said, "The Aam Aadmi Party is nothing but just a party filled with lies and fake promises.

Before the Vidhan Sabha elections also they had given guarantee to the women of Punjab that they will give every woman ₹1000 per month, it's been nearly 3 years and they have completely failed to fulfill their guarantee." She further said, "Now yet again the party's state president Aman Arora came to Patiala yesterday to give 5 new guarantees to the people of Patiala.

But he failed to mention that work on the project of these so-called guarantees that he gave is already underway and are being done by the BJP led Central government. His first promise of 50 new e-buses isn't a project of Punjab Govt, it's Centre government's project and has already been sanctioned in July for Patiala under the PM-eBus Sewa scheme.

The major chunk of the payment on this project is also being done by the Central Government. So, the AAP should tell the people the truth instead of just playing PR Politics. She further continued, "He also claimed the 4 laning work of Sirhind Road as another Guarantee, which again is being done by the Centre government and was approved after a lot of hardwork of former MP Preneet Kaur ji, because the Punjab Government was refusing to pay it's share for land acquisition.

Similarly, the 24*7 Canal based drinking water project for Patiala was a brainchild of former CM Captain Amarinder Singh ji and was initiated by him with the aid of the Central Government. The work of that project should have been completed by now, if the AAP government wouldn't have stalled it purposefully for its electoral gain.

Not only this, the work of clearing the dump ground of Patiala was also stopped by the current AAP government even though the funds were already sanctioned by the previous Captain Amarinder Singh government and half the work was already completed. The Mahila Morcha President further said, "Now can Mr. Aman Arora answer that why all these vital projects of Patiala were stopped by his government and can he name any one new project that has been started for Patiala by the AAP Government.

The failure of AAP Government is so stark that they are now forced to take credit for the projects that were already initiated by us and are forced to present new packaging, old contents." She further said, "I urge the AAM Aadmi Party President or his local MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli to come out and recount the number of development works carried out by them in Patiala and then only ask for vote from the people of Patiala."
