District Police Launches CASO in Jalvayu Tower, Kharar

In its ongoing campaign to curb the activities of bad and anti-social elements, the District Police, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar launched a Cordon and Search Operation on Sunday at Jalvayu Tower Society, Sector 125, Sunny Enclave Kharar falling under the area of Sub Division Kharar-1. As many as 03 SPs, 11 DSPs, 17 Inspectors/SHOs and about 100 other police personnel were part of the operation. 

Divulging the details, SSP Deepak Pareek said that during the operation, suspicious persons were checked and questioned by police teams by laying Nakas at all the gates of the Jalvayu Tower Society besides conducting checking in the flats of the society as well. In addition, vehicles parked in the parking lot of the society were also investigated. 

During this operation, 16 suspicious persons were rounded up, who were being taken to the police station for further questioning, 13 traffic challans were issued and 03 vehicles were impounded. The main objective of this Cordon and Search Operation is to take action against the anti-social elements/suspicious persons and instil a sense of security among the general public, he further added.
