The movie has attracted a lot of audiences worldwide with its strong story and powerful acting.

It has been 9 days since the film's release, and the film has almost reached the figure of ₹1150 crores worldwide on the 9th day, and in India, the movie has already crossed the mark of ₹760 crores. Here is a detailed analysis of the remarkable box office journey of the film.

   - Hindi: ₹27 crore

   - Telugu: ₹7.5 crore

   - Kannada and Malayalam: ₹0.2 crore

This takes the film's total Indian collection to ₹762.1 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing films of 2024. The film's global gross collection has reached ₹1150 crore, putting it on the verge of surpassing RRR, which had recorded a lifetime India collection of ₹782.2 crore.

The Movie Has An Amazing First Week Collection

The film's first-week collections have broken the records of many other movies. With ₹10.65 crores from previews and ₹164.25 crores on the first day, Pushpa 2 maintained its momentum throughout its first weekend.

   - Saturday: ₹119.25 crore

   - Sunday: ₹141.05 crore

Although the movie's collections saw a slight drop on other days of the week, the earnings figures remained strong:

   - Thursday: ₹37.45 crore

By the end of its first week, the film had grossed approximately Rs 725.8 crore in India, making Pushpa 2 the fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.

Pushpa 2: Challenges and Continued Success

Pushpa 2's 9th day faced an unexpected hurdle when Allu Arjun was briefly detained following a massive stampede during the Pushpa 2 film launch in Hyderabad. A fan died and his child was hospitalized. The incident happened due to overcrowding at Sandhya Theatre, where Arjun and the actor, along with fans, had gathered to watch the film.

Later the Telangana High Court granted Arjun interim bail for four weeks, while the Nampally Court sent him to 14 days of judicial custody. Prominent personalities, including Varun Dhawan, Nani, and Rashmika Mandanna, expressed their support for Arjun and condemned the arrest, triggering discussions in the film industry.

Despite this setback, the film's box office performance remained unaffected, which shows the unwavering loyalty of Allu Arjun's fans.

Highest First-Week Gross in Indian Cinema

According to Mythri Movie Makers, the Pushpa 2 movie became the highest-grossing movie in Indian cinema in the first week, and the movie earned ₹1067 crores globally. Pushpa 2 movie surpassed records set by major blockbuster movies, further solidifying Allu Arjun's status as a pan-India superstar.

Fastest to Cross ₹1000 Crore

The Pushpa 2 movie has become the fastest Indian film to cross the ₹1000 crore mark worldwide. This feat has been achieved within just nine days of the movie's release. The film's remarkable pace is a testament to its universal appeal and strong word-of-mouth promotion.

Pushpa 2 Movie’s Competition with RRR

With a total collection of 762 crores in India, Pushpa 2 is now just 20 crores away from surpassing RRR's lifetime India collection of 782.2 crores. Some film industry experts predict that Pushpa 2 will soon break this record, further strengthening its dominance in the industry.
