In a moment of immense pride for Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Dr. Rahul Dhiman, Assistant Professor in Fine Arts, represented the university and India at the prestigious Kamakura Art Festival in Japan. 

Organized by Kasagi Art Gallery, Japan, and Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, India, the international exhibition celebrated a cultural exchange of creativity between Indian and Japanese artists.

Dr. Dhiman’s exceptional artwork, which received widespread admiration from global delegates and art enthusiasts, was also presented as gifts to Japanese artists during the ceremonial exchange, showcasing the richness of Indian artistry on a global platform. 

His contributions have placed DBU’s Fine Arts department at the forefront of international recognition. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Rahul Dhiman for this outstanding achievement. 

“Dr. Dhiman’s participation and recognition at this international forum is a testament to the exceptional quality of Fine Arts education at Desh Bhagat University. Our focus has always been on nurturing creativity and preparing students and faculty for global opportunities,” said Dr. Singh.
