'Mera Priya Gita Shloka’ unique competition at International Gita Mahotsav

As part of the International Gita Mahotsav 2024, the Kurukshetra Development Board is organising a unique competition named 'Mera Priya Gita Shloka’. This initiative provides an exciting opportunity for individuals who have experienced positive changes in their lives through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. 

Participants will not only share their personal experiences but also contribute to spreading the timeless wisdom of the Gita to a mass audience.The main objective of the competition is to promote the profound messages of the Bhagavad Gita across the world and highlight the stories of those who have found guidance from Gita’s verses. 

As part of the competition the participants have to create a short video explaining how their favourite Gita shloka has inspired and influenced their lives. These videos will be uploaded to a dedicated YouTube channel named "My Favourite Shloka in Gita," where they can reach a mass audience.    

To participate in this competition, the maximum duration of the video is set at 40 seconds. Participants must submit their videos along with the title, their name, phone number, and address. All entries will be accepted until December 11, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Videos can be emailed to [email protected]. The winner of the competition will be selected based on the video with the highest number of views. The winner will be awarded a cash prize.

The Bhagavad Gita is not just a spiritual text of India but a guide to navigating all aspects of life. Through the "Mera Priya Gita Shloka'" contest, the Kurukshetra Development Board aims to bring the eternal teachings of the Gita to a global platform. This initiative seeks to inspire millions of people to find meaning and purpose in their lives through the profound wisdom of the Gita.
