The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan today finalised the arrangements for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) examination for recruitment of constables scheduled to be held on Dec 1-2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

It was informed that a total of 5,873 aspirants are expected to appear for the exam across 19 centers. To ensure a fair and seamless process, two flying squads led by ACR and CPO along with 19 Duty Magistrates, 19 Superintendents, 8 Deputy Superintendents, and 50 Frisking Supervisors have been deployed to facilitate the examination.

The DC reviewed the overall preparedness, including the provision of adequate seating arrangements, heating, lighting, sanitation, transportation, and security at all examination centers. Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and Heads of Institutions were sensitized about their crucial roles in exam preparations.

The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal; ASP N.A. Khoja; JKSSB member Pritam Lal Thappa (District Coordinator); Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Frisking Supervisors, and other concerned staff.
