In a significant organizational shift, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) appointed Aman Arora as the Punjab Party President and Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi as the Working President.

This decision reflects AAP’s commitment to strengthening its leadership in Punjab and preparing for future electoral challenges. Aman Arora, a two-time MLA from Sunam and a cabinet minister in the Punjab government, is a prominent Hindu leader known for his inclusive approach and dynamic leadership.

Having secured his seat in the 2022 Assembly elections with the highest margin in the state, Arora has demonstrated strong grassroots support and widespread appeal.

Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, the MLA from Batala, has also emerged as a dedicated party leader. His appointment as Working President highlights AAP's focus on bringing in energetic and result-oriented leaders to fortify the organization at all levels.

AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal extended his heartfelt congratulations to Aman Arora and Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi on their appointments as Punjab Party President and Working President, respectively. Kejriwal expressed confidence in their leadership, highlighting their proven dedication and ability to strengthen the party's organizational structure in Punjab.

"I am confident that Aman Arora and Sherry Kalsi will work tirelessly to address the issues of the people and take the party to greater heights," he stated, wishing them success in their new responsibilities.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann also expressed confidence in the newly appointed leaders through a statement, saying, "Aman Arora and Sherry Kalsi are capable leaders who will take the organization to new heights.

Together, they will ensure AAP continues to grow stronger in Punjab." Aman Arora, newly appointed President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, and the party’s leadership for entrusting him and Batala MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi with significant responsibilities.

Arora acknowledged the honor of leading the party in Punjab and assured the leadership and party workers of his unwavering commitment to fulfilling his duties diligently.

He emphasised his intent to work as part of Bhagwant Mann’s team, upholding the principles and vision of the party under Kejriwal’s guidance.

Highlighting the unique leadership style within AAP, Arora praised CM Bhagwant Mann for voluntarily expressing his desire to step down as state party president, paving the way for this new leadership.

He pledged to build on the strong organizational foundation already established in Punjab and strengthen the party further. Stressing the unity and focus of AAP, Arora contrasted its disciplined organization with the fragmented structures of other parties.

He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to public service and noted that AAP’s victories, such as the recent Jalandhar bypoll win, are rooted in delivering results for the people.

Arora also encouraged a collaborative spirit within the party, emphasizing that AAP operates like a family. He cited the active participation of Punjab workers in Delhi campaigns as an example of the collective commitment that transcends geographical boundaries.

Reiterating the party’s focus on merit-based governance and development, he assured that AAP would continue to work tirelessly for the people of Punjab.

Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, newly appointed as the Working President of AAP Punjab, thanked AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Sandeep Pathak for trusting him with this key role.

Kalsi expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and committed to putting in relentless efforts to strengthen the party and deliver impactful results.

"Our focus is to build on the success of the party and address the issues of the people," he stated. Kalsi underscored his determination to fulfill his responsibilities with dedication and focus, working closely with senior leaders of AAP Punjab to ensure effective decision-making.

He assured the party leadership and workers of his commitment to building on the party’s successes and bringing meaningful results to the people of Punjab.

This leadership reshuffle underscores AAP's strategy to maintain its momentum in Punjab by leveraging the strengths of its leaders. With a proven track record of governance and electoral success, the new leadership team is expected to guide the party to even greater accomplishments.
