DC reviews progress achieved under credit linked schemes in Kathua District

To review the achievements under credit-linked/ employment generation schemes of different departments, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Dr Rakesh Minhas chaired a meeting here today in the Conference Hall of DC office.

At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner sought the details about the number of cases sanctioned by the implementing departments and the number of cases disbursed and those pending with the banks.

The DC directed the heads of the departments and bankers to work in coordination for the early disposal of the cases. The meeting discussed a series of measures to evaluate the progress and performance of credit linked schemes in the Agriculture and allied sectors.

Addressing the meeting, the DC called upon the all concerned departments and bankers to redouble their efforts in achieving the outlined targets.

Strict instructions were also issued to concerned departments and bankers to ensure zero pendency in the sanctioned cases which are lying in the banks for disbursal. Among others ADDC, CPO Kathua, heads of various departments and bankers were also present.
