The Haryana IAS Officers Association organized a  get-together here today to honor Dr. TVSN Prasad, an IAS officer from the 1988 batch, who will be superannuating from the post of Chief Secretary on October 31, 2024. The ceremony was attended by Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Directors, and other senior administrative officers from various departments.

Senior officers gathered to honor Dr. TVSN Prasad, reflecting on his remarkable achievements during over 36 years of dedicated service. Throughout his career, he held significant positions in the State Government. His experience also extends to various roles within the Central Government and the World Bank.

During the event, officers shared their experiences of working under Dr. Prasad’s guidance, expressing their hope that his insights will continue to serve as a guiding force in their professional journeys. On behalf of the Haryana IAS Officers Association, Dr. Prasad was presented with a bouquet, a shawl, and a memento as a token of respect for his contributions.

Speaking on this occasion, Chief Secretary Dr. TVSN Prasad expressed his gratitude for the wonderful tenure he has had and acknowledged the exceptional team of officers he worked with. Dr Prasad said that he is also grateful that two elections- Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha and Swearing-in-Ceremonies were held successfully during his seven-and-a-half month tenure as Chief Secretary.
