The Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Dr. Owais Ahmed Saturday chaired a detailed review meeting here to assess the progress of projects under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP). During the meeting, Dr. Owais conducted a thorough review of all NCAP projects undertaken during the FY 2023-2024, alongside other related initiatives.
Commissioner SMC also finalized the action plan for the FY 2024-2025.Stressing the importance of the clean air initiative, Dr. Owais called for a heightened pace of work and issued clear directives for accelerating the implementation of NCAP projects.
The meeting was attended by the Joint Commissioners of SMC, Secretary SMC, JCW SMC, Superintending Engineer (Drainage), Divisional Forest Officer (SMC), Executive Engineers from Roads & Buildings (R&B), City Roads Division, and other senior officials of SMC and line departments.
