The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has approved the expansion of the District Administrative Complex and the construction of new Sub-Tehsil Complexes in Ajitwal and Samalsar. The expansion of the Administrative Complex's 'B' Block will include an additional two-story building, funded by the Punjab Government with Rs. 12.11 crore.

This will enable the relocation of all departments under one roof, eliminating the need for scattered offices. The new Sub-Tehsil Complexes in Ajitwal and Samalsar will receive Rs. 85.75 lakh each for construction, addressing the long-standing need for permanent buildings. This will facilitate efficient administration and provide better services to the public.

Additionally, Rs. 17.49 lakh has been allocated for the repair of the Tehsil Complex in Dharmkot. Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal stated that these development projects, totaling over Rs. 14 crore, will enhance administrative efficiency, transparency, and public convenience.
