Senior BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has openly alleged that BJP in Punjab is being commanded by the those leaders of the congress who joined BJP only to save themselves while Taksali cadre of BJP was being badly ignored in Punjab.Talking to newsmen here today, while raising his voice in support of the taksali BJP workers are being ignored and side-lined.
Grewal alleged that congressification of BJP are being witnessed as recently entered in BJP-CONGRESS leaders were commanding.He asked BJP leadership to remember Veteran BJP leaders like Madan Mohan Mittal, Prof Lakshmi Kanta Chawla, Master Mohan Lal, Avinash Rai Khanna, Tikshan Sud, Manoranjan Kalia, Som Parkash, Surjit Kumar Jyani and many more who worked hard and faced terrorism era in Punjab, but now they were seen to be cornered.
Grewal said that Mittal was asked to take control of BJP Punjab when no body dared to come outside from his/ her house during terrorism, but Mittal worked hard during terror days as Punjab BJP President.He said BJP high command should prefer real cadre of BJP which was being ignored badly.
When asked about controversy arisen after the statement of Bollywood Actress cum BJP MP Kangna Ranaut, Grewal quipped and said BJP should not allot party ticket to those who did not know about the disciplined party BJP after ignoring BJP cadre.
Replying a question about any possible disciplinary action against him, Grewal said it’s upto high command to listen truth or act. He clarified that he was not going to leave his party BJP himself.Commenting upon farmers protest, Grewal said that centre should realise the problems of the farmers as their kids are serving in army on the borders.
BJP Leader said BJP High Command will have to realise the truth and should rescue BJP from the clutches of those congress leaders joined party only to save their corrupt deals.
