Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 7th September 2024. Ganesh Chaturthi marks the arrival of Lord Ganesha into homes. The important time of the festival will be observed from 6th September to 7th September on Chaturthi Tithi while Ganesh Visarjan will be observed on 17th September.

As we all know that the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is near and everyone across the country is waiting for Lord Ganesha i.e. Bappa Ji to come to everyone's home and give his blessings to everyone.

Important Date And Time Of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024

First of all, we will know that the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada on 7 September 2024. This is a special kind of day on which the devotees of Lord Ganesha welcome Bappa in their homes.

Ganesh Chaturthi date will start on September 6, 2024 at 3:01 pm.

Whereas the date of Ganesh Chaturthi will end on September 7, 2024 at 5:37 pm.

The puja muhurta of Ganesh Chaturthi is from 10:30 am to 12:59 pm on September 7, 2024.

Ganesh Visarjan will be performed on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

All the devotees of Ganesha should avoid seeing the moon a day before the installation of Ganesha. The time to avoid seeing the moon is from 8:44 am to 8:22 pm on September 7, 2024.

Significance Of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the biggest festivals which is celebrated with great pomp and show all over India. As the name suggests, this festival is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and the worship of the special Chaturthi date.

Method Of Worshiping Ganesh Chaturthi

On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, the devotee should wake up in the morning and put white sesame seeds in water and take a bath with that water.

Lord Ganesha was born in the afternoon on Ganesh Chaturthi, so worshipping Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi is of great importance.

To worship, install the idol according to your capacity. After this, start the worship in the auspicious time of worship and wear the noose and goad in your hands. After this, meditate on Siddhivinayak Ganpati Bappa Ji in your mind. After this, bathe Ganesha with pure water. After meditating on Ganesha, offer him two red clothes and offer fruits, flowers, incense sticks, lamps, everything to Ganesha according to your faith.
