Punjab BJP Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi. During the meeting, he submitted a memorandum to resolve railway related issues of Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. During the meeting, Dr. Subhash Sharma informed the Railway Minister about various issues related to Mohali, Ropar and Nawanshahr districts.
He requested Mr.Vaishnav to construct a shed on the railway underpass between Shampur and Raipur Kalan villages of Mohali so that water does not stagnate there during the rainy season. Apart from this, he said the overbridge built on Landra Road in Saneta village of Mohali should be widened. Dr.Subhash Sharma requested for a stoppage of Vande Bharat (Una to Delhi) at Kharar railway station & Sachkhand & Swarmati Express in Sri Kiratpur Sahib.
Dr. Subhash Sharma said that the Delhi-Una railway line falling under Ropar district has divided Nangal into two parts where an underpass should be built. He asked the minister to name Morinda railway station after Mata Gujri ji. Talking about Nawanshahr, he said that Nawanshahr should be connected with Khanna and Balachaur with Ropar by a new rail lines.
Talking about all these issues, Dr. Subhash Sharma said that he is committed for the development of Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency and the solution of these problems will greatly benefit the people of the constituency. The Railway Minister assured him that all the requests related to Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency will be discussed thoroughly and implemented soon.
