Shiromani Akali Dal today alleged that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his AAP party was hand in glove with Dera Sirsa head Gurmeet Ram Rahim for getting votes in Haryana elections and this was also main reason CM has failed to approve sanction for initiation of case against Dera Sirsa head u/s 295 A file of which was pending since last 3 years on his table.
Addressing a press conference here today, SAD Chief Spokesman Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler said that CM was hiding main issues of Punjab including total collapse of Law and Order, failure to carry out development in the state, unsafe atmosphere for girls in the state, Gangster culture in the state and large scale spread of drugs in the state and instead was resorting to theatrics and other propaganda shows to hide his failures.
He said that Punjabis were shocked to see that Dera Sirsa follower Pardeep Kler was arrested six years after he was declared proclaimed offender only in one case though in other two cases also he is a proclaimed offender. He said that Pardeep Kler got bail within one month of his arrest but he is still to get arrested in FIR No 117 dated 25.09.2015 and FIR no 128 dated 12.10.2015 at Police station Bazakhana in Faridkot district.
He said that Bhagwant Mann who is also Home Minister is directly responsible for non-action against Pardeep Kler in other two cases.He said that apart from this, it is also a fact that Pardeep Kler has got his statement recorded u/s 164 before Magistrate and blamed Dera Sirsa functionary Honeypreet, but still she has not been named in any FIR by the Punjab Police.
Once again only Bhagwant Mann can tell why no action is being taken against her. He said that it is also shocking to note that first sacrilege cases were shifted out of Punjab and later their hearing was stayed only because of the failure of Bhagwant Mann government.He also asked the CM on why he was silent on repeated bails/furloughs being provided to Dera Sirsa head by BJP government in Haryana and why he has not opposed these in Supreme Court.
Talking up cases of NHAI scrapping 3 projects worth Rs. 3263 crore and sending notice to scrap 8 others worth Rs. 14288 crores, SAD Spokesman said that it is because of failure of Bhagwant Mann in resolving issues of land acquisition and providing adequate compensation to farmers that these projects have failed to take off.He said that first Congress government failed to take up even a single project in its five year rule and now the AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann is failing the state on this front.
