The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Friday visited the fire victim family of Mantrigam Bandipora. During his visit, the DC expressed deep concern over the unfortunate incident.  He met with the affected family, expressed sympathies, and assured all possible support from the District Administration.

The fire, which broke out in the intervening night of 7th and 8th August, caused significant damage to the residential property of Mushtaq Ahmad Lone of Mantrigam, leaving the family in distress. To address the immediate needs of the family, the District Administration had already provided essential relief kits, including blankets, utensils for daily use, and tarpaulins to offer temporary shelter.

The swift response from the administration aims to alleviate some of the hardships faced by the family in wake of the fire incident. During the visit, the DC was accompanied by ACD Irfan Bahadur, CPO Mohammad Maqbool, Naib Tehsildar and other concerned.
