The Upcoming NEET PG 2024 exam again comes into controversy as a fresh Plea for postponement of the exam has been filed in the Supreme Court by a group of students claiming that the NEET PG exam question paper was leaked online and available in few bucks on telegram or Whatsapp. The admit cards for the NEET Exam 2024 are also going to be issued and the exam is scheduled for 11 August 2024.

Why Did Students Want To Postpone NEET EXAM 2024?

A consortium of NEET-PG aspirants has petitioned the Supreme Court, arguing that they face monumental difficulties in securing examination centers. The logistical issues have caused significant stress and uncertainty, affecting their preparation and confidence.

In addition to logistical problems, there are concerns about potential breaches in exam integrity. Rumors of paper leaks have circulated, undermining the credibility of the examination process and causing anxiety among the candidates.

What Supreme Court's Role

The Supreme Court now faces the task of balancing the integrity of the examination process with the legitimate concerns of the aspirants. The court's intervention is sought to ensure that the NEET-PG 2024 is conducted fairly, and free from logistical chaos and malpractice.

Arguments From the National Board of Examinations (NBE)

The National Board of Examinations (NBE), responsible for conducting NEET-PG, argues that any postponement would disrupt the academic calendar. They emphasize that the schedule is meticulously crafted to ensure a seamless progression for medical graduates.

The NBE contends that altering the exam date would create a cascade of logistical issues, potentially affecting other examinations and academic activities. They insist that maintaining the current schedule is crucial for upholding the integrity and order of the academic regimen.

What is the NEET Exam?

The NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is a highly competitive examination that medical graduates must pass to pursue postgraduate studies in medicine. The exam is known for its rigorous preparation and high stakes, as it significantly impacts the careers of aspiring doctors.
