In its ongoing efforts to make the city clean by ensuring the cleaning of the main roads in Mohali with mechanical machines, SAS Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh kickstarted the mechanical sweeping with the two imported machines outside Sports Complex 78, road, today. The MLA who had successfully started this mechanical sweeping during his tenure as the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation to improve the sanitation work in the city, said that due to the absence of these machines for the last two years, the work of sanitation suffered badly and people were suffering due to lack of proper cleanliness.

He said that after getting the remaining 2 machines by the end of September, the cleaning of the 'B' category roads of the city will also be done with mechanical sweeping machines. The MLA said that being the representative of SAS Nagar residents, he is committed to serving the city dwellers diligently and making Mohali a very beautiful city.
