The ancient Indian festival of Hariyali Teej was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm today at the Haryana Raj Bhavan. Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya inaugurated the cultural programs by lighting the lamp. Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya extended his greetings for Teej to the citizens and wished everyone a happy and healthy life. Pleased with the artists' performances, he announced a prize of three lakh rupees for them.
Organized by the Department of Art and Culture, the Department of Information, Public Relations, and Languages, and the North Zone Cultural Centre, the Teej festival featured mesmerizing performances by artists. Highlights included Haryana's folk dance Panihari, Rajasthan's folk dance Bhavai, Himachal's folk dance Nati, Uttar Pradesh's Barsana dance Mayur, and Punjab's Jindua, which were the main attractions.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the program and applauded the artists generously. A group photo was also taken with the Governor and the artists. This splendid ceremony was particularly appealing to children and women. During the event, women enjoyed swinging to the songs of Sawan, wore colorful bangles, and applied mehndi, while children delighted in flying balloons.
Chief Minister's wife Mrs. Suman Devi, Speaker of the Assembly Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, Industry Minister Mr. Mool Chand Sharma, Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad, DGP Shatrujit Kapoor, Chandigarh Advisor, and other officials were present on this occasion.

भारतीय संस्कृति के प्राचीनतम त्यौहार हरियाली तीज को आज हरियाणा राजभवन में बड़े हर्षोउल्लास और उमंग के साथ मनाया गया। हरियाणा के राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने दीप प्रज्जवलित कर सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का शुभारम्भ किया। राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने नागरिकों को तीज की शुभकामनाएं दीं और सबके सुखी व स्वस्थ जीवन की कामना की। उन्होंने कलाकारों की प्रस्तुति से खुश होकर उन्हें तीन लाख रुपये की राशि पुरस्कार स्वरूप प्रदान करने की घोषणा की।
कला एवं सांस्कृतिक विभाग, सूचना जन सम्पर्क एवं भाषा विभाग तथा उत्तर क्षेत्र के सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र के सौजन्य से आयोजित तीज उत्सव में कलाकारों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन कर भाव-विभोर कर दिया। समारोह में हरियाणा का लोक नृत्य पनिहारी, राजस्थान का लोक नृत्य भव्वई, हिमाचल का लोक नृत्य नाटी, उत्तर प्रदेश के बरसाने का नृत्य मयूर, पंजाब का जिंदुआ विशेष आकर्षण का केन्द्र रहे।
लोगों ने कार्यक्रम का भरपूर आनंद उठाया तथा कलाकारों के प्रोत्साहन में खूब तालियां बजाई गई। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल के साथ कलाकारों का ग्रुप फोटो भी लिया गया।यह शानदार समारोह बच्चों और महिलाओं के लिए विशेष आकर्षण का केन्द्र रहा। इस दौरान महिलाओं ने सावन के गीतों संग झूलों का लुत्फ लिया।
साथ ही महिलाओं ने रंग-बिरंगी चूड़ियां पहनीं और मेंहदी लगवाई तथा बच्चों ने भी गुब्बारे उड़ाने का आनन्द लिया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री की धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती सुमन देवी, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता, उद्योग मंत्री श्री मूलचंद शर्मा, मुख्य सचिव टीवीएसएन प्रसाद, डीजीपी शत्रुजीत कपूर,चंडीगढ़ के एडवाइजर व अन्य अधिकारीगण उपस्थित रहे।
