Haryana Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Aseem Goyal said that the state government is committed to women empowerment and numerous welfare schemes designed to support women.
Sh Aseen Goyal was speaking as Chief Guest at a program held in Nariangarh in Ambala district after honoring women who have achieved distinction in various fields. The Chief Minister’s wife, Mrs. Suman Saini, attended as the special guest. The event also saw the presence of Department’s Commissioner and Secretary Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar, Director Mrs. Monika Malik, and other officials.
The Minister encouraged women to take advantage of government schemes, specifically addressing the district-level sensitization program for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Chief Minister Matru Sahayata Yojana.
He explained that under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, the Government of India provides financial incentives to compensate for wage loss, allowing pregnant and lactating women from low-income backgrounds to refrain from work during pregnancy provided the second child is girl. Benefits include Rs. 5000 in two installments for the first child and Rs. 6000 in a single installment for the second child (girl).
Mr. Aseem Goyal also distributed cheques to beneficiaries of the Education Loan Scheme, the Loan Scheme for Widows, and the Haryana Matrishakti Udyamita Yojana. In addition, to promote education among girls, urban and rural adolescent girls who achieved first, second, and third positions in the Matriculation and 10+2 examinations conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education were also honored.
Special guest Mrs. Suman Saini emphasized in her address that the government prioritizes the advancement of women. She acknowledged that Haryana’s women are significantly contributing to the progress of both society and the state through their remarkable work across various fields.
The government has undertaken numerous initiatives for the overall development of the state.Commissioner and Secretary of the Department, Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar provided information about various key schemes being implemented by the state government for women and children.

हरियाणा के महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री श्री असीम गोयल ने कहा राज्य सरकार नारी सशक्तिकरण के प्रति संकल्पबद्ध है और इनके हित में कई कल्याणकारी योजनाएं चलाई जा रही हैं। श्री गोयल आज अम्बाला जिला के नारायणगढ़ में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न क्षत्रों में गौरव प्राप्त महिलाओं को सम्मानित करने के बाद बतौर मुख्य अतिथि सम्बोधित कर रहे थे।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री की धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती सुमन सैनी विशिष्ट अतिथि के तौर पर उपस्थित थे। इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान विभागीय आयुक्त व सचिव श्रीमती अमनीत पी. कुमार (आई.ए.एस.), निदेशक श्रीमती मोनिका मालिक व अन्य अधिकारीगण उपस्थित थे।महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री श्री असीम गोयल ने प्रधानमंत्री मातृत्व वंदना योजना एवं मुख्यमंत्री मातृत्व सहायता योजना के लाभार्थियों के लिए जिला स्तरीय संवेदीकरण कार्यक्रम में महिलाओं को सरकार की योजनाओं का लाभ उठाने का आह्वान किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना के तहत मजदूरी की क्षति के बदले में नकद राशि को प्रोत्साहन के रूप में दिया जाता है ताकि गर्भवती गरीब महिला को अपनी गर्भावस्था के दौरान काम न करना पड़े। इसके अंतर्गत गर्भवती व दूध पिलाने वाली माताओं को पहले दो जीवित बच्चों के लिए लाभ दिया जाएगा बशर्ते कि दूसरी संतान एक लड़की हो। पहले बच्चे के जन्म पर 5000 रुपए की राशि दो किस्तों में और दूसरे बच्चे (लड़की) 6000 रुपए जन्म के बाद एक क़िस्त में दिए जाएंगे।
श्री असीम गोयल ने आज शिक्षा ऋण योजना ,विधवाओं के लिए ऋण योजना, हरियाणा मातृशक्ति उद्यमिता योजना की लाभार्थियों को सहायता राशि के चैक वितरित किए। इसके अतिरिक्त, बालिकाओं को शिक्षा के प्रति प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए शहरी व ग्रामीण किशोरी बालिकाओं को भी सम्मानित किया गया है जिन्होंने हरियाणा विद्यालय शिक्षा बोर्ड की मैट्रिक तथा 10+2 कक्षा की परीक्षा में प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया है।
विशिष्ट अतिथि श्रीमती सुमन सैनी ने अपने सम्बोधन में कहा कि सरकार द्वारा महिलाओं की उन्नति को प्राथमिकता दी गई है। हरियाणा की महिलाएं विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में शानदार काम करके समाज और प्रदेश की उन्नति में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही हैं। सरकार ने राज्य के चहुंमुखी विकास के लिए विभिन्न कार्य किए हैं। विभाग की आयुक्त एवं सचिव श्रीमती अमनीत पी. कुमार (आई.ए.एस.) ने राज्य सरकार द्वारा महिलाओं व बच्चों के लिए चलाई जा रही विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण योजनाओं के बारे में अवगत करवाया।
