Special Task Force of Haryana Police apprehends notorious criminal Rakesh Alias Kala Khairmpuria

The Special Task Force of Haryana Police has achieved a significant breakthrough with the successful apprehension of Rakesh alias Kala Khairmpuria, a highly notorious criminal known for his extensive involvement in serious and violent crimes across Haryana.
Rakesh, who also operated under aliases such as Kala Khairmpuria, had been evading law enforcement agencies since he jumped his parole in 2020. Throughout this period, he continued to orchestrate criminal activities initially from within India and after fleeing abroad from countries like UAE, Armenia and Thailand.
Background and Criminal History:
Rakesh's criminal record began way back in 2014 and he has been charged with offences which include dacoity, robbery, murder, and illegal possession of firearms. Finally, he was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for a murder that he committed in 2015 in the area of Police Station Bhadra, Distt. Hanumangarh.
He was sentenced in 2018 and after serving the sentence till 2020, he was released on parole and he never reported back. During this period, he evaded arrest and further expanded his criminal operations in Haryana and neighbouring states.
He committed another murder in Village Darauli in the area of PS Bhattu Kalan, Distt. Fatehabad in 2021. Kala could not be arrested and was declared a proclaimed offender (PO) in 2023.
International Operations and Network:
Utilising a fraudulently acquired passport, Rakesh fled the country in early 2023 and operated his criminal gang from abroad, forging alliances with local gangs and orchestrating violent acts. His affiliations extended to notorious criminal groups such as the Himanshu Bhau Gang and Neeraj Faridpuria Gang, contributing to a crime syndicate responsible for several high-profile crimes including targeted killings and extortion.
Notable incidents include the murder of a Sarpanch in Distt Sonipat in Dec 2023, the firing incident on a famous sweet shop in Gohana in January this year, a murder at Murthal eatery and the shootout at a Burger King outlet in Rajouri Garden, Delhi last month.
Recent Developments:
On June 24, 2024, three masked assailants opened fire outside the Mahindra car dealership in District Hisar, Haryana. The Special Task Force of Haryana Police initiated a thorough investigation, identifying Rakesh alias Kala Khairmpuria as the mastermind behind the incident.
The investigation revealed that Rakesh arranged the arms and coordinated with the shooters in planning the attack and has claimed responsibility for orchestrating the attack at the car dealership through his Instagram account. The investigations linked him directly to the planning and execution of a violent incident at a car dealership in Hisar on June 24, 2024, underscoring his continued operational influence despite residing abroad.
Law Enforcement Efforts and Collaborative Strategy:
The Special Task Force carried out a thorough investigation to locate him. During the course of investigation, STF teams were able to establish and unearth a fake identity on which Kala had got his passport made.Once his identity was established, the teams tracked his travel details and mounted surveillance on the target. After strenuous efforts, he was zeroed in a foreign country.
The officials of Special Task Force (H) immediately coordinated with the Ministry of Home Affairs and also got the relevant Interpol references and notices issued against Kala. The MHA promptly took cognizance of the matter and coordinated with the various agencies both in India and abroad.
Meanwhile, the STF teams also got his passport, which he had obtained through fraudulent means, revoked. The required legal documents about establishing his identity and criminal record were shared with concerned law enforcement agencies through MHA. This collaborative effort led to the deportation of Rakesh @ Kala and he was then apprehended by the STF teams.
The arrest of Rakesh alias Kala Khairmpuria sends a resolute message regarding the Haryana Police's unwavering commitment to control crime and maintain law and order in the state. The police remain steadfast in its resolve to pursue individuals involved in organised crime located anywhere in the world, dismantle their criminal networks and ensure that the perpetrators face the full force of the law.

Smt. Trikha addresses School Management Committee conference-cum-training camp

Haryana Education Minister, Seema Trikha stated that the state government has done excellent work in the field of education over the last nine and a half years, as a result of which education standard in the state has been significantly improved. Under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh, the government is committed to providing accessible and quality education to students and is continuously working to achieve this goal through its welfare schemes.
Education Minister, Smt. Seema Trikha was speaking as the chief guest at the district-level School Management Committee conference-cum-training camp held in Faridabad today. MLA, Faridabad, Sh. Narendra Gupta and MLA, Tigaon, Sh. Rajesh Nagar were also present on this occasion.
The Education Minister said the purpose of this conference is to provide detailed information about the primary functions and responsibilities of the School Management Committee (SMC). The aim is to ensure that students do not face any issues. She said that in the past nine and a half years, the present government has established women's colleges in Ballabgarh and Mohna, a co-ed college in Sector-23, and colleges in Nacholi and Dayalpur.
These institutions will secure a bright future for the upcoming generations and help realize Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047. Apart from this, work for the construction or renovation of buildings of 92 government schools in the state will be started soon. She emphasized that to meet the demand of teachers in schools, 500 teachers will be promoted soon. Apart from this, vacant posts of teachers will be filled on priority basis.
MLA, Sh. Rajesh Nagar stated that efforts are being made by the central and state governments to ensure that no children in the country are deprived of the right to education. Since 2014, the number of IITs in the country has increased, and the state government is working to open model Sanskriti schools in every district.
While addressing the gathering, MLA Sh. Narendra Gupta appreciated the initiative of organizing SMC conference. He highlighted the crucial role of teachers and mentors in an individual's life. The purpose of the SMC is to create coordination between teachers and parents to work in the best interests of the students, he added.
On this occasion, the Education Minister honoured district toppers and students who succeeded in exams like JEE Mains and NEET. Besides this, she also honoured SMC members, principals, and star teachers for their excellent work in the field of education.

हरियाणा की शिक्षा मंत्री सीमा त्रिखा ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार ने पिछले साढ़े नौ वर्षों में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बेहतरीन कार्य किया है। जिससे प्रदेश में शिक्षा का स्तर बढ़ा है। यशस्वी मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह के नेतृत्व में सरकार विधार्थियों को सुगम और अच्छी शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है तथा प्रदेश सरकार अपनी लाभकारी योजनाओं के माध्यम से इस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए निरंतर कार्यरत है।
शिक्षा मंत्री श्रीमती सीमा त्रिखा आज फरीदाबाद में आयोजित जिला स्तरीय विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति की कॉन्फ्रेंस-सह-प्रशिक्षण शिविर में उपस्थित लोगों को बतौर मुख्य अतिथि संबोधित कर रही थीं। इस अवसर पर फरीदाबाद विधायक श्री नरेंद्र गुप्ता तथा तिगांव विधायक श्री राजेश नागर विशिष्ठ अतिथि के रूप में मौजूद रहे।शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम के आयोजन का उद्देश्य विद्यालय में गठित स्कूल मैनेजमेंट कमेटी (एसएमसी) को उसके मूल कार्यों तथा दायित्वों के संबंध में विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान करना है।
हम चाहते हैं कि छात्र-छात्राओं को किसी समस्या का सामना न करना पड़े। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पिछले साढ़े नौ वर्षों में वर्तमान सरकार ने बल्लभगढ़ एवं मोहना में महिला कॉलेज, सेक्टर-23 में को-एड कॉलेज, नचोली, दयालपुर में कॉलेज का निर्माण कराया है। जिससे हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी का भविष्य उज्जवल बनेगा।
इसी तरह हमारे प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के भारत को 2047 तक विकसित बनाने के सपने को साकार होगा। आने वाले समय में प्रदेश में 92 सरकारी स्कूलों की इमारतों का नवीनीकरण एवं निर्माण कराया जाएगा। शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि जल्द ही 500 अध्यापकों की पदोन्नती की जाएगी तथा खाली पदों पर नये शिक्षकों को नियुक्त किया जाएगा। जिससे विद्यालयों में शिक्षकों की कमी की समस्या नहीं रहेगी।
विधायक श्री राजेश नागर ने कहा कि भारत एक युवा देश है। भारत की आबादी में सबसे ज्यादा हिस्सेदारी युवाओं की है। हमारे देश का कोई भी युवा शिक्षा के अधिकार से वंचित न रह जाए, इसको ध्यान में रखकर ही केंद्र तथा प्रदेश सरकार मिलकर हर संभव प्रयास कर रही है। वर्तमान में देश में आईआईटी की संख्या 2014 के बाद बढ़ी हैं तथा प्रदेश सरकार हर जिले में मॉडल संस्कृति स्कूल खोलने का कार्य कर रही है।
विधायक श्री नरेंद्र गुप्ता ने उपस्थित लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आज इस प्रांगण में आयोजित यह एसएमसी कॉन्फ्रेंस शिक्षा मंत्री की एक सराहनीय पहल है। एक व्यक्ति के जीवन में उसके गुरु और शिक्षक की भूमिका बहुत अहम् होती है। विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति का उद्देश्य शिक्षक एवं परिजनों के बीच समन्वय बनाकर विद्यार्थियों के हितों के लिए कार्य करना है।
शिक्षा मंत्री ने जिला के टॉपर तथा जी मैन्स, नीट जैसी परीक्षाओं में सफल होने वाले विद्यार्थियों को सम्मानित किया। साथ ही शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बेहतर कार्य करने वाले एसएमसी सदस्यों, प्रिंसिपलों एवं स्टार टीचर्स को भी सम्मानित किया।
Central and State Governments Collaborating for Farmers' and Public Welfare" : Mahipal Dhanda

Haryana Minister of State for Development and Panchayats, and Cooperation Sh. Mahipal Dhanda while addressing a function organized by Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) in Mandi village of Panipat district today said that the strength of the farmer is linked with the strength of PACS.
He said that PACS employees should work with utmost dedication and commitment to further strengthen the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies.During the event, a social worker submitted a request to the Minister for the repair of dam and roads in Mandi village. On this, the Minister assured the villagers and PACS employees that all their genuine demands would be fulfilled.
Sh. Dhanda stated that PACS was established to benefit as many farmers as possible in rural areas and more people should join PACS. The CHC and gas agencies could also be run through PACS. Apart from this, PACS could also be further strengthened by including several other establishments of the central government. It can also become a medium of business.
He said that employees should work through PACS by setting up projects and takes a pledge for further strengthening of PACS.He emphasized that Farmers will benefit from the strengthening of PACS. He said that credit cards of farmers have been made, equipments are provided to farmers by providing large amount of subsidy; accounts of farmers have been opened in national banks which is a big achievement of the government.
The Minister said that farmers have contributed significantly in strengthening the economic condition of the country by way of adopting crop diversification. On this occasion, PACS employees also submitted a demand letter to the Minister.Chairman, PACS, Sh. Dilbag Singh, villagers and PACS employees were also present.

हरियाणा के विकास पंचायत एवं सहकारिता मंत्री महिपाल ढांडा ने आज पानीपत जिले के गांव मांडी के बैंकट हाल में प्राईमरी एग्रीकल्चर को-ऑपरेटिव सोसाइटी द्वारा आयोजित समारोह में संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि किसान की मजबूती पैक्स की मजबूती के साथ जुड़ी है। जब तक पैक्स मजबूत नहीं होगा तब तक किसान मजबूत नहीं होगा। पैक्स कर्मचारी ज्यादा से ज्यादा कार्य करके पैक्स को और मजबूत बनाएं।
इस मौके पर एक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता ने बांध व मांडी गांव की सड़कों को दुरुस्त करने की अर्जी भी मंत्री को दी। मंत्री ने आश्वासन दिया कि उनकी सभी मांगों को गंभीरता पूर्वक अध्ययन करके पूरा करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा। मंत्री ने ग्रामीणों व टैक्स कर्मचारियों द्वारा दी गई मांगो की फिजिबिलिटी चेक करवा कर उनका अध्ययन करके पूरा करने का आश्वासन दिया।
इस मौके पर विकास,पंचायत एवं सहकारिता मंत्री महिपाल ढांडा ने कहा कि पैक्स का गठन इसलिए किया गया था ताकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र मंं ज्यादा से ज्यादा किसानों को इसका लाभ पहुंचे। ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग इसके साथ जुड़े। मंत्री ने बताया कि 720 पैक्स में कुछ पैक्स ऐसी है जो घाटे में चल रही है। उन पर ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। उनको प्रॉफिट में लाना पैक्स कर्मचारियों की प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि पैक्स के जरिये सीएचसी व गैस एजेंसी भी चलाई जा सकती हैं। इसके अलावा केंद्र सरकार के कई उपकरण हैं जिनको शामिल करके पैक्स को मजबूत किया जा सकता है। उसे व्यापार का माध्यम भी बन जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रोजेक्ट लगा कर पैक्स के माध्यम से कर्मचारी कार्य करें व इसे और मजबूत बनाने का संकल्प लें। पैक्स की मजबूती से ही किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा। जब तक पैक्स प्रॉफिटेबल नहीं बनेगी किसान व आम आदमी लाभान्वित नहीं होगा। इस पर और ईमानदारी से पूर्ण कार्य करने की जरूरत है।
उन्होंने कहा कि किसानों के क्रेडिट कार्ड बनाए गए हैं। किसानों को बड़ी मात्रा में सब्सिडी प्रदान करके उपकरण प्रदान किए जाते हैं,नेशनल बैंकों में किसानों के खाते खोले गए हैं जो सरकार की बड़ी उपलब्धि है। मंत्री ने कहा कि किसानों ने फसल विविधिकरण अपना कर देश की आर्थिक स्थिति को मजबूत करने में सहयोग प्रदान किया है। इस मौके पर पैक्स के कर्मचारियों ने भी मंत्री को मांग पत्र सौंपा। इस मौके पर पैक्स के चेयरमैन दिलबाग सिंह, ग्रामीण व पैक्स कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे।
Jan Samvad programs will be held in all the assembly constituencies of Karnal Lok Sabha, grievances of people will be resolved: Manohar Lal Khattar

Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs, Sh Manohar Lal heard the grievances of people during the Jan Samvad Program held in the auditorium of RPIIT College in Bastara village of Gharaunda Assembly in Karnal today and redressed the same.
In all, he heard about 200 grievances.Among the issues raised, Sh. Manohar Lal took immediate action on salary-related grievances from two complainants, directing the concerned officials to conduct a vigilance inquiry into the matter.Sh. Manohar Lal emphasized his commitment to conducting Jan Samvad programs across all assembly constituencies of his Lok Sabha.
He highlighted the program's role in directly addressing public concerns and resolving issues. Additionally, he reaffirmed the government’s dedication to providing housing for every eligible poor individual under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Yojana.
The Union Minister said that both Central and State Governments are committed to delivering benefits through various schemes to eligible individuals at their doorstep. He also asked the officers to prioritize listening to and addressing public grievances in their offices to ensure timely resolution.
Sh. Manohar Lal asserted that there is no place for criminals in Haryana and emphasized that any form of crime or criminal activity will not be tolerated. Commenting on the encounter involving three miscreants last night, he praised the police for their commendable action.
He affirmed that both the police administration and the government are steadfast in their commitment to eradicating criminal elements from the state. He assured that the police will continue to take stringent and ongoing action against criminals to maintain law and order in Haryana.
On this occasion, Gharaunda MLA Sh. Harvinder Kalyan highlighted that during the tenure of former Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, numerous historic decisions were made and several welfare schemes were introduced for all sections of society.

केन्द्रीय उर्जा, आवास एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल ने आज करनाल के घरौंडा विधानसभा के बस्ताड़ा गांव में स्थित आरपीआईआईटी कॉलेज के सभागार में जनसंवाद कार्यक्रम में आमजन की शिकायतें सुन उनका निवारण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने लगभग 200 शिकायतें सुनी। दो फरियादियों की सैलरी की शिकायत पर उन्होंने संज्ञान लेते हुए मौके पर ही संबंधित अधिकारियों को विजिलेंस जांच करवाने के आदेश दिए।
इस मौके पर मनोहर लाल ने कहा कि वे अपनी लोकसभा की सभी विधानसभाओं में जनसंवाद कार्यक्रम करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से जनता से सीधे तौर पर रू-ब-रू होकर उनकी समस्याओं का हल किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना तथा डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर योजना के तहत हर गरीब पात्र व्यक्ति को मकान देने के लिए सरकार प्रतिबद्ध है।

किसी भी प्रकार के अपराध व अपराधी को सहन नहीं किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बीती रात तीन बदमाशों के एनकाउंटर पर बोलते हुए कहा कि यह पुलिस का बड़ा ही सराहनीय कार्य है। किसी भी अपराधी को पुलिस प्रशासन या सरकार प्रदेश में सहन नहीं करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस द्वारा भविष्य में भी अपराधियों पर निरंतर कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।

Union Minister of State for Cooperation, Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar emphasised the importance of adopting electric vehicles for a secure future and economic strength. He flagged off an e-vehicle awareness rally aimed at promoting electric vehicles.
Under the aegis of the District Administration, Faridabad and with the support of Argo EV Smart, an exhibition-cum-road show was organised in the convention hall of HSVP, Faridabad today. Sh. Gurjar inaugurated the event which has been organized to spread awareness about electric vehicles.
Encouraging people to adopt electric vehicles, Sh. Gurjar said that global warming is a pressing issue that requires collective efforts and stated that various initiatives have been taken worldwide to combat this crisis, with India making significant progress under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.
The power and industry sector has taken remarkable steps towards green hydrogen and electric vehicles, with notable achievements in the power sector towards green energy. The Government of India has set a target to take the country to zero carbon in the coming times, added the Minister.
The Union Minister of State for Cooperation, Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar said the government has launched various schemes to promote electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. With the adoption of new technologies, battery prices are expected to decrease, making electric vehicles more affordable in the future.
The government is making efforts to install charging stations as needed, and public cooperation is essential for the swift adoption of electric vehicles.MLA, Faridabad, Sh. Narendra Gupta stated that there is a need to quickly move towards using electric vehicles given the current circumstances.

केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री गुर्जर ने इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को बढ़ावा देने के संदेश के साथ आयोजित ई-वाहन रैली को हरी झंडी दिखाई

इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित ई-वाहन जागरूकता रैली को बतौर मुख्याअथिति हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना करते हुए केंद्रीय सहकारिता राज्य मंत्री श्री कृष्णपाल गुर्जर ने कहा कि सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए ई-वाहन जरूरी है। देश की आर्थिक मजबूती के लिए हमें इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के प्रयोग की ओर तेजी से बढ़ना होगा।
फरीदाबाद जिला प्रशासन के तत्वावधान में आरगो ईवी स्मार्ट धीमान के विशेष सहयोग से एचएसवीपी के कन्वेंशन हॉल में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के प्रति जागरूकता का संदेश देने के लिए एग्जीबिशन कम रोड-शो का आयोजन किया गया, जिसका शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में केंद्रीय सहकारिता राज्य मंत्री कृष्णपाल गुर्जर ने किया।
लोगों को इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को अपनाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हुए केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री ने कहा कि आज पूरी दुनिया के समक्ष ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का संकट छाया हुआ है, जिससे निपटने के लिए एकजुट प्रयासों की आवश्यकता है। श्री गुर्जर ने कहा कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के संकट से बचने के लिए विश्व भर में विभिन्न प्रकार की पहल की गई है, जिसमें प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत सरकार भी तेजी से आगे बढ़ रही है।
इसके लिए भारत ने अनेक कदम उठाए हैं ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ी को सुरक्षित भविष्य प्रदान किया जा सके। विशेष रूप से ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन तथा इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों की ओर आगे बढ़ रहे हैं। पावर व उद्योग क्षेत्र ने उल्लेखनीय कदम उठाये हैं। पावर क्षेत्र में ग्रीन एनर्जी पैदा करने की दिशा में हमने विशेष उपलब्धि हासिल की है। भारत सरकार ने लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया है कि आने वाले समय में देश को जीरो कार्बन तक लेकर जायेंगे।
केंद्रीय सहकारिता राज्य मंत्री ने कहा कि पर्यावरण सुधरेगा तो विदेशी मुद्रा की भी बचत होगी। सरकार ने विभिन्न स्कीम चलाकर इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया, तिपहिया व चार पहिया वाहनों को बढ़ावा दिया है। नवीनतम तकनीकों को अपनाया जा रहा है। नई तकनीक से आने वाले समय में बैटरी की कीमत कम होगी तो इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों की कीमतें और कम हो जाएगी। ई-वाहनों को तेजी से अपनाना है। इसके लिए सरकार प्रयासरत है जिसमें लोगों का सहयोग अपेक्षित है। जगह-जगह आवश्यकतानुसार चार्जिंग स्टेशन स्थापित किये जा रहे हैं।
इस मौके पर फरीदाबाद के विधायक नरेंद्र गुप्ता ने कहा कि वर्तमान समय की आवश्यकता व परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के प्रयोग की ओर तेजी से कदम बढ़ाने होंगे। ऑटोमोबाइल इंडस्ट्री पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है कि इससे प्रदूषण न फैले। आने वाली पीढ़ी को अच्छा व सुरक्षित वातावरण देने के लिए हमें इस दिशा में आगे बढ़ना होगा। इस मौके पर फरीदाबाद के अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त डॉ. आनंद शर्मा सहित कई अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
Nayab Singh launches two ambitious environmental protection schemes during the 75th State Level Van Mahotsav in Karnal
CM inaugurates Oxy-Van in Karnal, 20,000 saplings planted simultaneously by various social-religious organizations, students, and NCC cadets

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh today launched two ambitious environmental protection schemes during the 75th State Level Van Mahotsav held in Karnal. The new schemes, named ‘Van Mitra’ and ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Yojana’, aim to enhance tree planting efforts and safeguard the environment.
Under the Van Mitra Scheme, the government will provide Rs 20 per tree to the Van Mitra for digging of pits, planting of trees, and their subsequent protection. Additionally, under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Yojana', tree planted by the people will be entrusted to Van Mitras for care and protection for which they (Van Mitra) will be provided Rs 10 per tree by the Government.
Earlier today, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh inaugurated the Oxy-Van in Karnal, a significant environmental project. The foundation stone for this 40-hectare Oxy-Van was laid by the then Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, on June 5, 2021.
The Oxy-Van features the development of nine different types of forests. To date, 10,000 trees have already been planted in the Oxy-Van. Today, an additional 20,000 saplings were planted simultaneously by various social-religious organizations, students, and NCC cadets.
The Chief Minister extended his congratulations to all participants for their dedicated efforts. In addition, the Chief Minister released nine new books published by the Forest Department during the event, further emphasizing the government's commitment to environmental education and awareness.
PM Sh Narendra Modi had launched the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam scheme on World Environment Day on June 5
The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi had launched a unique campaign in the name of Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam in Delhi. The Prime Minister had said that 'as much respect as we give to our mother who gave us birth, we must give the same respect to Mother Earth who nurtured us.
Planting a tree in the name of our mother will not only honor our mother but will also protect Mother Earth. The Chief Minister affirmed the Haryana Government's commitment to enhancing the state's greenery and reducing pollution, in alignment with the Prime Minister's vision.
Every family must plant a tree
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh addressed the growing global concern of environmental pollution, stating that this year, temperatures in several districts of Haryana have reached as high as 50 degrees Celsius. He emphasized the urgent need for collective action to combat this crisis.
The Chief Minister appealed to every family to plant at least one tree as a simple yet impactful step towards environmental conservation. He also encouraged individuals to commemorate significant personal milestones such as a child’s birthday, a wedding anniversary, or any joyful occasion by planting a tree. This act, he said, not only contributes to the environment but also creates lasting memories associated with these special events.
A growing tree is a symbol of a progressive nation
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh stated that a growing tree symbolizes a progressive nation. Emphasizing Haryana's agriculture-based economy, he highlighted the critical role trees and forests play in maintaining soil fertility for agriculture.
The Chief Minister stressed the necessity of developing forests through extensive tree planting and ensuring the protection of trees and plants. He said that an increase in the number of trees and plants directly contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment.
22 Oxyvans have been established in urban and rural areas
The Chief Minister, while referring to the Covid pandemic, said that Covid pandemic had taught us that oxygen is most important for saving life on this earth. Keeping this in mind, the government started a scheme to develop Oxy-vans on an area of 5 to 100 acres in every district for environmental protection. In the year 2022-23, 22 Oxy-vans have been established in urban and rural areas. The work of establishing Oxy-van in district Panchkula is in progress.
22,425 hectares of area in Gurugram, Nuh, Rewari and Mahendragarh notified as reserved forest
The Chief Minister said that many schemes have been started to make Haryana green. To increase the forest area, 22,425 hectares of area in Gurugram, Nuh, Rewari and Mahendragarh districts falling in the Aravalli Hills has been notified as reserved forest in the year 2023-24 and Rs 6 crore has been spent on its conservation.
Apart from this, the government has started building Panchavati Vatika in 134 pilgrimages located within the 48 Kos of Dharmakshetra Kurukshetra. These pilgrimages are located in Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal and Panipat districts.
Pension of Rs 2750 is given for the maintenance of trees above 75 years of age
The Chief Minister said that the government has started the Pranavayu Devta Pension Scheme, expressing gratitude towards trees above 75 years of age. Under this scheme, a provision of pension of Rs 2750 per year per tree has been made for the maintenance of trees.
An amount of Rs 2750 per tree has been deposited in the bank accounts of the guardians of 3819 trees in the year 2023-24. Similarly, schemes like 'Har Gaon Pedhoon Ki Chhaanv', 'Paudhagiri' and 'Har Ghar Hariyali' are being run successfully in the state.
18 crore plants planted in the state, this year 1.5 crore plants will be planted
The Chief Minister said that like every year, a target has been set to plant approximately 1.5 crore saplings across Haryana this year. Since October 2014, the state has successfully planted around 18 crore saplings.
To ensure the effectiveness of these efforts, the Forest Department will regularly map and monitor the growth of both newly planted and existing trees through geo-tagging drones. Their growth will be monitored over a period of five years, with the aim of increasing Haryana's forest area and enhancing the overall health of the state's green cover.
International level herbal forest established in Morni area
The Chief Minister said that the Government has developed herbal parks in various districts for the conservation and promotion of medicinal plants. An international level Herbal Forest has been established in Morni area. Apart from this, city forests have been developed on 116 acres of land in Murthal of Sonipat district and 11.25 acres of land in Sadhaura of Yamunanagar.
Similarly, city forests are being developed in Karnal, Panchkula, Faridabad, Gurugram and Palwal. Besides, around 2500 Village Forest Committees are working in the state to connect the local people with forest and environmental conservation.
Every individual must plant a tree – Minister, Sanjay Singh
On this occasion, Minister of State for Environment, Forest, Wildlife and Sports, Sh Sanjay Singh appealed to the people to plant at least one tree under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam scheme started today and contribute significantly to the government's vision to make the state green and pollution free, so that the coming generation does not have to face problems like environmental pollution.
On this occasion, MLA Indri Sh Ram Kumar Kashyap, Additional Chief Secretary Environment, Forest and Wildlife Sh Anand Mohan Sharan Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Sh Pankaj Goyal along with other officials were also present.
मुख्यमंत्री ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्रदूषण से बचाव के उद्देश्य से दो महत्वाकांक्षी योजनाओं का किया शुभारंभ
करनाल में हुआ 75वें राज्य स्तरीय वन महोत्सव का भव्य आयोजन

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह ने आज करनाल में आयोजित 75वें राज्यस्तरीय वन महोत्सव कार्यक्रम में पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्रदूषण से बचाव के उद्देश्य से दो महत्वाकांक्षी योजनाओं का शुभारंभ किया। इसमें वन मित्र और एक पेड़ मां के नाम योजना शामिल है। वन मित्र गड्ढे खोदकर पेड़ लगाने के साथ-साथ उसका संरक्षण भी करेंगे। इस कार्य के लिए उन्हें प्रति पेड़ के हिसाब से सरकार द्वारा 20 रुपये दिए जाएंगे।
इसी तरह एक पेड़ मां के नाम योजना के तहत लोगों द्वारा लगाए गए पेड़ों को संरक्षण के लिए वन मित्रों को सौंपा जाएगा। इस काम के लिए सरकार द्वारा वन मित्रों को प्रति पेड़ के हिसाब 10 रुपये दिए जाएंगे। इससे पहले मुख्यमंत्री ने करनाल में स्थापित आक्सी वन का उदघाटन किया। 40 हेक्टयेटर क्षेत्र में स्थापित किए जा रहे इस आक्सी वन का 5 जून 2021 को तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल ने शिलान्यास किया था।
इस आक्सी वन में 9 प्रकार के वन विकसित किए जा रहे हैं। आक्सी वन में 10 हजार पेड़ पहले लगाए गए थे और आज विभिन्न सामाजिक-धार्मिक संस्थाओं, छात्रों और एनसीसी कैडेट्स द्वारा एक साथ 20 हजार और पौधे लगाए गए। इस कार्य के लिए मुख्यमंत्री ने उन्हें बधाई दी। इस मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री ने वन विभाग द्वारा प्रकाशित 9 पुस्तकों का विमोचन भी किया।
5 जून को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने की थी एक पेड़ मां के नाम योजना की शुरूआत
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि गत 5 जून को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने दिल्ली में एक पेड़ मां के नाम से एक अनूठे अभियान की शुरूआत की थी। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा था कि 'जितना सम्मान हम अपनी जन्म देने वाली मां को देते हैं, उतना ही सम्मान हमें हमारा पालन पोषण करने वाली घरती मां को भी देना होगा।
अपनी मां के नाम पौधा लगाने से मां का तो सम्मान होगा ही, साथ ही धरती मां की भी रक्षा होगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार भी प्रधानमंत्री श्री मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में प्रदेश को हरा-भरा बनाकर प्रदूषण मुक्त करने के लिए कृत संकल्प है। इसी के तहत आज एक पेड़ मां के नाम योजना का हरियाणा में भी विधिवत रूप से शुभारंभ किया गया है।
हर परिवार एक पेड़ जरूर लगाए
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्तमान दौर में दुनिया में पर्यावरण प्रदूषण चिंता का विषय है। इस वर्ष हरियाणा में भी कई जिलों में तापमान 50 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा, जिससे लोगों को खासी परेशानी का सामान करना पड़ा। आसमान में प्रदूषण और धरती पर तापमान का निरंतर बढ़ना चिंता का विषय है। उन्होंने अपील की है कि हर परिवार कम से कम एक पेड़ अवश्य लगाए। इसके साथ-साथ यह संकल्प भी लें कि अपने बच्चे के जन्म दिवस पर, विवाह की वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर या किसी खुशी के अवसर पर पेड़ लगाकर अपनी खुशी को यादगार बनाएं।
बढ़ता हुआ पेड़ प्रगतिशील राष्ट्र का है प्रतीक
उन्होंने कहा कि एक बढ़ता हुआ पेड़ प्रगतिशील राष्ट्र का प्रतीक होता है। हमारी अर्थ-व्यवस्था कृषि प्रधान है। कृषि के लिए जमीन को उपजाऊ रखने में पेड-पौधों और वनों का बड़ा योगदान होता है। इसलिए हमें अधिक से अधिक पेड़ लगाकर वनों का विकास करना होगा और पेड़-पौधों की रक्षा करनी होगी। जितने ज्यादा पेड़-पौधे होंगे, उतना ही हमारा पर्यावरण स्वच्छ होगा।
शहरी एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में स्थापित किए हैं 22 ऑक्सीवन
मुख्यमंत्री ने कोविड महामारी का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि कोविड महामारी हमें यह सीख दे गई थी कि इस धरती पर जीवन को बचाए रखने के लिए आक्सीजन सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है। इसी को ध्यान में रखते हुए सरकार ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए हर जिले में 5 से 100 एकड़ क्षेत्रफल पर ऑक्सीवन बनाने की योजना की शुरूआत की। वर्ष 2022-23 में शहरी एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 22 ऑक्सीवन स्थापित किये गये हैं। जिला पंचकूला में ऑक्सीवन स्थापित करने का कार्य प्रगति पर है।
गुरुग्राम, नूंह, रेवाड़ी तथा महेन्द्रगढ़ में 22,425 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र को किया गया सुरक्षित वन अधिसूचित
मुख्यमत्री ने कहा कि हरियाणा प्रदेश को हरा-भरा बनाने के लिए अनेक योजनाएं शुरू की गई हैं। इसी के तहत वन क्षेत्र को बढ़ाने के लिए वर्ष 2023-24 में अरावली की पहाड़ियों में पड़ने वाले गुरुग्राम, नूंह, रेवाड़ी तथा महेन्द्रगढ़ जिले में 22,425 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र को सुरक्षित वन अधिसूचित किया गया है और इसके संरक्षण पर 6 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किये गये हैं। इसके अलावा सरकार द्वारा धर्मक्षेत्र-कुरुक्षेत्र की 48 कोस की परिधि में स्थित 134 तीर्थों में पंचवटी वाटिका बनाने की शुरुआत की है। ये तीर्थ जिला कुरुक्षेत्र, कैथल, करनाल और पानीपत में स्थित हैं।
75 साल से अधिक आयु के वृक्षों के रख-रखाव के लिए दी जाती है 2750 रुपये की पेंशन
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार ने 75 साल से अधिक आयु के वृक्षों के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करते हुए प्राणवायु देवता पेंशन योजना शुरू की है, जिसके तहत वृक्षों के रखरखाव के लिए 2750 रुपये प्रति वर्ष प्रति पेड़ पेंशन का प्रावधान किया है। वर्ष 2023-24 में इस योजना के तहत 3819 वृक्षों के संरक्षकों के खातों में 2750 रुपये प्रति वृक्ष के हिसाब से धनराशि डाली जा चुकी है। इसी तरह से प्रदेश में 'हर गांव पेड़ों की छांव, 'पौधगिरी' तथा 'हर घर हरियाली' जैसी योजनाएं सफलतापूर्वक चलाई जा रही हैं।
प्रदेश में लगाए जा चुके हैं 18 करोड़ पौधे, इस वर्ष डेढ़ करोड़ पौधे लगाए जाएंगे
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि हर साल की भांति इस साल भी लगभग डेढ़ करोड़ पौधे लगाने का लक्ष्य है। अक्तूबर 2014 से अब तक प्रदेश में लगभग 18 करोड़ पौधे लगाये जा चुके हैं। वन विभाग द्वारा पहले से लगे हुए और हर वर्ष होने वाले पौधारोपण की जीओ टैंगिंग ड्रोन द्वारा नियमित मैंपिंग की जाएगी तथा 5 वर्ष तक हुई उनकी ग्रोथ पर नजर रखी जाएगी ताकि हरियाणा में वन क्षेत्र को बढ़ाया जा सके।
मोरनी क्षेत्र में अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का औषधीय वन किया गया स्थापित
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार ने औषधीय पौधों के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन के लिए विभिन्न जिलों में हर्बल पार्क विकसित किये हैं। मोरनी क्षेत्र में अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का औषधीय वन स्थापित किया गया है। इसके अलावा जिला सोनीपत के मुरथल में 116 एकड़ तथा यमुनानगर के सढौरा में 11.25 एकड़ जमीन पर नगर वनों का विकास किया गया है। इसी तरह से करनाल, पंचकूला, फरीदाबाद, गुरुग्राम तथा पलवल में नगर वन विकसित किये जा रहे हैं। साथ ही स्थानीय लोगों को वन एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण से जोड़ने के लिए राज्य में लगभग 2500 ग्राम वन समितियां कार्यरत हैं।
हर व्यक्ति एक पेड़ अवश्य लगाए- संजय सिंह
इस मौके पर वन एवं वन्य प्राणी, पर्यावरण एवं खेल राज्य मंत्री श्री संजय सिंह ने लोगों से आह्वान किया कि आज से शुरू की गई एक पेड़ मां के नाम योजना के तहत वे कम से कम एक पेड़ अवश्य लगाएं और प्रदेश को हरा-भरा बनाने व प्रदूषण मुक्त करने की सरकार की मुहिम में अपना अहम योगदान दें, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ी को पर्यावरण प्रदूषण जैसी समस्या का सामना न करना पड़े।
इस अवसर इन्द्री के विधायक श्री राम कुमार कश्यप, वन एवं वन्य प्राणी व पर्यावरण विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री आनंद मोहन शरण और मुख्य वन संरक्षक एवं वन बल प्रमुख श्री पंकज गोयल सहित अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
