In a state-level committee meeting of the Department of Urban and Rural Planning held here today under the Chairmanship of Minister of Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates, Sh. J.P. Dalal, the draft development plans of the Ratia Development Plan -2041 were approved.
The MLA of Ratia, Sh. Laxman Napa, was also present on the occasion. The Ratia Development Plan has been prepared for an estimated population of over 200,000 people by the year 2041. This plan will be published for the public, following which comments from the public will be sought.
The meeting informed that the proposed average residential density will be 250 persons per hectare. Out of the total 1667 hectares in this development plan, 649 hectares have been allocated for residential purposes and 116 hectares for commercial purposes.
Similarly, 267 hectares have been designated for industrial purposes, 192 hectares for transportation and communication, 122 hectares for public utilities, 101 hectares for public and semi-public use, while 220 hectares have been reserved for open space.
It was further informed in the meeting that the current area is 575 hectares, and with the newly proposed 1667 hectares, the total urbanization area will become 2242 hectares. In the residential area, 9 sectors are proposed, 3 sectors in the commercial area, and 3 industrial areas. Likewise, in the transportation and communication sector, 2 part sectors, and under public utilities, 2 STPs and 2 water works are proposed.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of Environment, Forest, and Wildlife Department, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Additional Chief Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department, Sh. A.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Chief Administrator, Haryana Shaheri Vikas Pradhikaran, Sh. T.L. Satyaprakash, Director of Agriculture Department, Sh. Raj Narayan Kaushik, Director, Town & Country Planing, Haryana and Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Town & Country Planning Department, Sh. Amit Khatri, Managing Director of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), Sh. Sushil Sarwan, along with other senior officers.

रतिया डेवलपमेंट प्लान -2041 की प्रारूप विकास योजनाओं को मिली स्वीकृति

हरियाणा के नगर एवं ग्राम आयोजना मंत्री जे पी दलाल की अध्यक्षता में आज यहां हुई नगर एवं ग्राम आयोजना विभाग की राज्य स्तरीय कमेटी की बैठक में रतिया डेवलपमेंट प्लान -2041 की प्रारूप विकास योजनाओं को स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई। इस मौके पर रतिया के विधायक श्री लक्ष्मण नापा भी उपस्थित रहे। रतिया डेवलपमेंट प्लान वर्ष 2041 तक 2 लाख से अधिक व्यक्तियों की अनुमानित आबादी के लिए तैयार की गई है। इस प्लान को जनता के लिए प्रकाशित किया जाएगा, उसके बाद जनता से टिप्पणियां मांगी जाएंगी।
बैठक में जानकारी दी गई कि प्रस्तावित औसत आवासीय घनत्व 250 व्यक्ति प्रति हेक्टेयर होगा। इस विकास योजना में कुल 1667 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में से 649 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र को आवासीय उद्देश्य के लिए और 116 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र को व्यावसायिक उद्देश्य के लिए रखा गया है। इसी प्रकार, 267 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र को औद्योगिक उद्देश्य के लिए तथा 192 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र परिवहन और संचार के लिए, 122 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र सार्वजनिक उपयोगिताओं के लिए, 101 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र सार्वजनिक और अर्ध-सार्वजनिक उपयोग के लिए जबकि 220 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र ओपन स्पेस के लिए रखा गया है।
बैठक में बताया गया कि मौजूदा एरिया 575 हेक्टेयर है और नए प्रस्तावित 1667 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र के साथ ही कुल शहरीकरण एरिया 2242 हेक्टेयर हो जाएगा। आवासीय क्षेत्र में 9 सेक्टर, वाणिज्यिक क्षेत्र में 3 सेक्टर और 3 औद्योगिक क्षेत्र प्रस्तावित हैं। इसी प्रकार, परिवहन और संचार क्षेत्र में 2 पार्ट सेक्टर, सार्वजनिक उपयोगिताओं के तहत 2 एसटीपी और 2 वाटर वर्क्स, प्रस्तावित हैं।
बैठक में पर्यावरण, वन एवं वन्य जीव विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री आनंद मोहन शरण, जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री ए के सिंह, नगर एवं ग्राम आयोजना विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री अरुण कुमार गुप्ता, हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण के मुख्य प्रशासक श्री टीएल सत्यप्रकाश, कृषि विभाग के निदेशक श्री राज नारायण कौशिक, नगर एवं ग्राम आयोजना विभाग के निदेशक श्री अमित खत्री, हरियाणा राज्य औद्योगिक एवं अवसंरचना विकास निगम (एचएसआईआईडीसी) के प्रबंध निदेशक श्री सुशील सरवान सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
