Additional Deputy Commissioner Major Amit Sareen honoured the members of SVEEP teams for their splendid role during the Lok Sabha Polls 2024. The felicitation ceremony was held at Government College for Girls, Bharat Nagar Chowk, to recognize those who have contributed immensely to ensuring the free, fair, and smooth conduct of polls in the district.
The ADC, who is also the Nodal Officer for SVEEP activities, stated that due to the responsibility, diligence, and dedication of the officials and staff members, the entire election process in the district was conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner. He emphasized that organizing the Lok Sabha elections in the biggest democracy in the world was a challenge in itself, and this wouldn't be possible without the dedication and hard work of the staff.
He congratulated the entire election staff for performing their duties with utmost devotion and dedication.

ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਮੇਜਰ ਅਮਿਤ ਸਰੀਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਵੀਪ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ 2024 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਲਈ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ, ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ), ਭਾਰਤ ਨਗਰ ਚੌਕ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਜੋਕਿ ਸਵੀਪ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੋਡਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਵੀ ਹਨ, ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ, ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਸਦਕਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਚੋਣ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ, ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਚੋਣ ਅਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਕੇ-ਥੱਕੇ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
