Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that a State Transplant Centre will soon be established at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak to facilitate kidney and other organ transplants. He assured that the State Government will provide all necessary support to further enhance PGIMS, Rohtak.
The Chief Minister made this announcement while addressing a felicitation function held in honor of the kidney transplant team at PGIMS, Rohtak. During the event, he congratulated the entire team responsible for the successful kidney transplant.
Mr. Nayab Singh said that the success of the kidney transplant procedure will benefit not only the needy people of the state but also those across the country and the world. He highlighted the State Government's continuous efforts to improve health facilities, with a priority on providing affordable and accessible treatment to the residents of Haryana.
He said that, just as 24 AIIMS have become operational in India over the last decade, Haryana has seen unprecedented development in its health services. Currently, there are two AIIMS in Haryana - one is operating in Jhajjar district and the foundation stone of the second AIIMS has been laid by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi in Rewari district.
The Chief Minister also stated the State Government's goal to establish a medical college in every district to meet the demand of doctors and improve healthcare services. Presently, about 18 medical colleges have been established in the state, with more in the process of being set up.
Helipads to be built in all medical colleges and district hospitals - Dr. Kamal Gupta
On this occasion, Health Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta, who also holds the portfolio of Civil Aviation Minister, said, he has directed that helipads be constructed in all medical colleges and district hospitals to facilitate the airlifting of organs and patients in need for transplant-related cases.
He also requested the PGIMS administration to ensure that facility of air condition should be provided in all new hostels. For this, the state government will provide all possible assistance. Dr. Kamal Gupta shared that he is an alumnus of PGIMS, having enrolled in the MBBS program in 1971 and completed his MS in 1980.
He recalled that former Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal had committed to opening a medical college in every district to address the shortage of doctors. Many of these colleges are now operational, with more under development. He also praised the PGIMS doctors for their transformative work in kidney transplantation, marking a significant advancement in Haryana's healthcare sector. He urged the doctors to elevate the institute's standards to such a level that medical students would prefer PGIMS, Rohtak over institutions in Delhi as their top choice in the PMT test.
Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education and Health Department Smt. Sumita Misra, Director Medical Education and Research Department Dr. Saket Kumar, Director PGIMS, Rohtak Dr. S.S. Lohchab, Vice Chancellor PGIMS, Rohtak Prof Anita Saxena and other officials were also present on this occasion.
पीजीआईएमएस रोहतक में शुरू होगा स्टेट ट्रांसप्लांट सेंटर : नायब सिंह
प्रदेश सरकार लोगों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं प्रदान करने के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह ने कहा कि पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज (पीजीआईएमएस), रोहतक में जल्द ही स्टेट ट्रांसप्लांट सेंटर शुरू किया जाएगा ताकि किडनी सहित अन्य अंगों के ट्रांसप्लांट को सुगम बनाया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार पीजीआईएमएस, रोहतक को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री आज यहां पीजीआईएमएस, रोहतक की गुर्दा प्रत्यारोपण टीम के सम्मान में आयोजित अभिनंदन समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने गुर्दा प्रत्यारोपण करने वाली समस्त टीम को सम्मानित भी किया। गुर्दा प्रत्यारोपण की समस्त टीम को बधाई देते हुए मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह ने कहा कि आने वाले समय में उनकी इस सफल पद्धति का लाभ प्रदेश के जरूरतमंद लोगों को ही नहीं बल्कि देश और दुनिया को भी मिलेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार लोगों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं प्रदान करने के लिए निरंतर प्रयास कर रही है। प्रदेश की जनता को सस्ता और सुगम इलाज उपलब्ध करवाना हमारी प्राथमिकता है। जिस प्रकार पिछले 10 वर्षों में देश में 24 एम्स संचालित हो गए हैं उसी प्रकार हरियाणा में भी स्वास्थ्य की आधारभूत सेवाओं में अभूतपूर्व विकास सुनिश्चित किया गया है।
आज हरियाणा में 2 एम्स हैं जिसमे से एक झज्जर ज़िले में संचालित है तो दूसरे एम्स की आधारशिला रेवाड़ी ज़िले में प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा रखी जा चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार प्रत्येक जिले में एक मेडिकल कॉलेज स्थापित करना चाहती है ताकि अच्छे डॉक्टर तैयार किये जा सकें और लोगों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हो सकें। वर्तमान में प्रदेश में लगभग 18 मेडिकल कॉलेज स्थापित हो चुके हैं तथा अन्य की स्थापना प्रक्रियाधीन है।
सभी मेडिकल कॉलेज और जिला अस्पतालों में बनेंगे हेलीपैड - डॉ कमल गुप्ता
इस अवसर पर प्रदेश के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉक्टर कमल गुप्ता ने कहा कि प्रदेश का नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री होने के नाते मैंने आदेश दे दिए हैं कि सभी मेडिकल कॉलेज और जिला अस्पतालों में हेलीपैड भी बनाया जाए ताकि जरूरत पड़ने पर रिसर्च आदि से सम्बंधित कार्यों और ट्रांसप्लांट के मामले में ऑर्गन्स और मरीज़ों को एयरलिफ्ट किया जा सके। साथ ही, उन्होंने पीजीआईएमएस प्रशासन से अनुरोध किया कि जहां भी नए हॉस्टल बने वहां एयरकंडीशन एक का भी प्रावधान करें। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करेगी।
डॉ. कमल गुप्ता ने कहा कि मैं भी इसी संस्थान का छात्र रहा हूं। उन्होंने इसी इंस्टीट्यूट में 1971 में एमबीबीएस में एडमिशन लिया था और 1980 में इसी संस्थान से एमएस की। उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल ने डॉक्टरों की कमी को पूरा करने के लिए हर जिले में एक मेडिकल कॉलेज खोलने की घोषणा की थी। आज बहुत से मेडिकल कॉलेज चालू हो गए हैं और बाकी पर काम चल रहा है। डॉ गुप्ता ने कहा कि हरियाणा के स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में पीजीआईएमएस के डॉक्टर्स द्वारा गुर्दा प्रत्यारोपण एक परिवर्तनकारी पहल साबित हुई है। उन्होंने आग्रह करते हुए कहा कि डॉक्टर्स इस इंस्टीट्यूट में ऐसा बदलाव लाएं कि मेडिकल के विद्यार्थी पीएमटी टेस्ट में पहली च्वाइस दिल्ली की बजाय पीजीआईएमएस, रोहतक भरें।
इस अवसर पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग की अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्रीमती सुमिता मिश्रा, मेडिकल एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च विभाग के निदेशक डॉ साकेत कुमार, पीजीआईएमएस, रोहतक के निदेशक डॉ एस एस लोहचब, पीजीआईएमएस, रोहतक की वाइस चांसलर प्रोफेसर अनीता सक्सेना सहित अन्य अधिकारीगण भी उपस्थित थे।
