The four-day second meeting of the Screening cum Evaluation Committee under the Haryana Film and Entertainment Policy concluded on Friday at the Film Division Auditorium, Mahadev Road, New Delhi. During this, 17 films were screened.
Director General, Department of Information, Public Relations, Language, and Culture, Sh. Mandip Singh Brar was specially present at the conclusion of the screening process. He said that, in addition to preserving traditional culture, cinema is being actively promoted through the film policy.
Sh Brar said that the government is giving concrete shape to schemes by focusing on cultural genres alongside developmental themes. The Haryana government is consistently making efforts to promote films, ensuring that every aspect receives full attention.
For the past two years, the Haryana Film Promotion Board has been working to allocate subsidies by inviting applications. He informed that special locations have been identified to facilitate the shooting of various films, including Haryanvi films, and the application process for shooting permissions has been significantly simplified.
Now, permissions can be obtained by applying online. He also mentioned that a function will be organized soon to provide subsidies for the films selected during the screening. On the concluding day of the meeting, the Chairperson of the Screening cum Evaluation Committee and other members were honored by the Director General Sh. Mandip Singh Brar. They were presented with mementoes and shawls in recognition of their contributions.
The four-day meeting was attended by the Chairperson of the Screening cum Evaluation Committee, Smt. Mita Vashisht, along with committee members including Vice Chancellor of SUPVA, Sh Gajendra Chauhan, and members Girish Dhamija, Atul Gangwar, Rajiv Bhatia, Art Officer Tanya JS Chauhan, and Suman Dangi from the Department of Art and Culture.
Additional Director Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department Sh Vivek Kalia, Joint Director Films Sh Neeraj Kumar, Deputy Director Sh Amit Pawar and other officers of the department were also present on this occasion.

हरियाणा फिल्म एंड एंटरटेनमेंट पॉलिसी के तहत स्क्रीनिंग कम इवैल्यूएशन कमेटी की चार दिवसीय दूसरी बैठक का नई दिल्ली महादेव रोड स्थित फिल्म डिविजन ऑडिटोरियम में शुक्रवार को समापन हो गया। इस दौरान 17 फिल्मों की स्क्रीनिंग हुई। स्क्रीनिंग प्रक्रिया के समापन अवसर पर सूचना, जनसंपर्क, भाषा एवं संस्कृति विभाग के महानिदेशक मनदीप सिंह बराड़ विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
उन्होंने कहा कि परंपरागत संस्कृति को संरक्षित करने के साथ-साथ फ़िल्म नीति के माध्यम से सिनेमा को प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा सरकार विकासात्मक स्वरूप के साथ ही सांस्कृतिक विधा को भी केंद्रीत कर योजनाओं को मूर्त रूप दे रही है। हरियाणा सरकार फिल्म प्रमोशन के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है और पूरा फोकस हर पहलू से किया जा रहा है।
फिल्मों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए ही पिछले दो वर्षों से आवेदन आमंत्रित करके हरियाणा फिल्म प्रमोशन बोर्ड के माध्यम से सब्सिडी आवंटित करने के लिए कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि हरियाणवी फिल्मों सहित अन्य फिल्मों की शूटिंग के लिए अनुमति हेतु विशेष स्थानों को चिन्हित किया गया है। साथ ही अनुमति के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया को बेहद सरल बनाया गया है। अब ऑनलाइन आवेदन करके शूटिंग हेतु अनुमति ली जा सकती है।
उन्होंने बताया कि जल्द ही एक समारोह एक आयोजन करके स्क्रीनिंग में चयनित फिल्मों के लिए सब्सिडी प्रदान की जाएगी।बैठक के समापन अवसर पर स्क्रीनिंग कम इवैल्यूएशन कमेटी की चेयरपर्सन और अन्य सदस्यों को सूचना, जनसंपर्क और भाषा विभाग के महानिदेशक मनदीप सिंह बराड़ ने स्मृति चिन्ह और शाल भेंटकर सम्मानित किया।
चार दिवसीय बैठक में स्क्रीनिंग कम इवैल्यूएशन कमेटी की चेयरपर्सन मीता वशिष्ठ, कमेटी के सदस्य एवं सुपवा के कुलपति गजेंद्र चौहान, सदस्य गिरीश धमीजा, अतुल गंगवार, राजीव भाटिया, कला एवं संस्कृति विभाग से कला अधिकारी तान्या जे एस चौहान व सुमन दांगी सहित अन्य सदस्य शामिल रहे।इस अवसर पर सूचना, जनसंपर्क, भाषा तथा संस्कृति विभाग के अतिरिक्त निदेशक विवेक कालिया, संयुक्त निदेशक फ़िल्म नीरज कुमार, उप निदेशक अमित पवार सहित विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
