Dr. Virendra Kumar assumed charge as Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment here today. Dr. Kumar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for entrusting him with this responsibility.
On this occasion, officials from various departments of the ministry, along with Minister of State Shri Ramdas Athawale and Shri B.L.Verma were present. Later, Dr. Kumar along with both MoS Shri Ramdas Athawale and Shri B.L.Verma discussed the achievements of the ministry so far and the roadmap for the future with respect to the resolve of a developed India.
Speaking with media on the occasion Shri Athawale said that he willkeep working towards the mission of social justice and empowerment. Shri B.L.Verma Minister of State assumed charge as Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment today.
On this occasion, the ministry officials extended their welcome and felicitations. On the first day, discussions were held in the ministry regarding upcoming plans with the resolve to develop India.

डॉ. वीरेंद्र कुमार ने आज केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्री का पदभार ग्रहण किया। डॉ. कुमार ने यह जिम्मेदारी सौंपने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर राज्य मंत्री श्री रामदास अठावले और श्री बी.एल. वर्मा सहित मंत्रालय के विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।पदभार संभालने के बाद, डॉ. कुमार ने दोनों राज्य मंत्री श्री रामदास अठावले और श्री बी.एल. वर्मा के साथ मंत्रालय की अब तक की उपलब्धियों और विकसित भारत के संकल्प के संबंध में भविष्य की रूपरेखा पर चर्चा की।

ਡਾ. ਵੀਰੇਂਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਣ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਚਾਰਜ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਦਾਰੀ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਭਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਅਠਾਵਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੀ.ਐੱਲ ਵਰਮਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
ਚਾਰਜ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ, ਡਾ. ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਅਠਾਵਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੀ.ਐੱਲ ਵਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਪਲਬਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਰੂਪਰੇਖਾ ‘ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਅਠਾਵਲੇ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਥੇ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਣ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਚਾਰਜ ਵੀ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਠਾਵਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਣ ਦੇ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
