Haryana Civil Aviation Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta said that as a result of the efforts of the state government over the past decade, the people of the state are about to realize their dream of having their own airport. On June 20, Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh will inaugurate various civil works of phase-2 of the Hisar Airport.
Dr. Kamal Gupta chaired a review meeting here today with officers of the Civil Aviation Department, Air Force Ambala, and the Airport Authority of India regarding the establishment of the Hisar Airport and Civil Enclave Ambala. He directed the officers to expedite the work in collaboration with the Ambala Air Force and the Airport Authority of India regarding the Civil Enclave being established in Ambala.
It was informed in the meeting that the projects related to the Hisar Airport that have been completed include the office of the Chairman of Haryana Airport Development Corporation (HADC) being set up in the ATC Tower building. He mentioned that the work on the runway, CAT I, ATC, GSC area, PTT, link taxi, apron, fuel room, basic perimeter road, and rainwater drains at Maharaja Agrasen Airport is almost complete.
In the meeting, in addition to the Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal, Advisor, Civil Aviation, Haryana and Secretary to Government, Haryana Civil Aviation Department, Sh. Shekhar Vidyarthi, besides, senior officers of the Civil Aviation Department and the Airport Authority of India were also present.

नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री ने चंडीगढ़ में विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ की समीक्षा बैठक

हरियाणा के नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री डॉ कमल गुप्ता ने कहा कि विगत दस वर्षों से राज्य सरकार के प्रयासों के फलस्वरूप प्रदेश के लोगों का अपना एयरपोर्ट का सपना साकार होने जा रहा है। 20 जून को मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह महाराजा अग्रसेन हिसार एयरपोर्ट के फेज-2 के विभिन्न सिविल कार्यों का लोकार्पण करेंगे। डॉ. कमल गुप्ता आज यहां हिसार एयरपोर्ट तथा सिविल एन्क्लेव अम्बाला की स्थापना को लेकर नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग, एयरफोर्स अम्बाला तथा एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि अम्बाला में स्थापित किए जा रहे सिविल एन्क्लेव के बारे वायुसेना अम्बाला के साथ हुए समझौते तथा एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर कार्य को आगे बढाएं। बैठक में जानकारी दी गई कि हिसार एयरपोर्ट से जुड़े जिन प्रोजेक्ट का कार्य पूरा हो चुका है, उनमें हरियाणा एयरपोर्ट डेवलपमेंट कारपोरेशन (एचएडीसी) चेयरमैन का कार्यालय एटीसी टावर की बिल्डिंग में बनकर तैयार हो गया है।
उन्होंने बताया कि महाराजा अग्रसेन एयरपोर्ट पर रनवे, कैटआई, एटीसी, जीएससी एरिया, पीटीटी, लिंक टैक्सी, एप्रेन, फ्यूल रूम, बेसिक स्पिट पैरामीटर रोड और बरसाती ड्रोन बनाने का कार्य लगभग पूरा हो गया है। बैठक में नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री सुधीर राजपाल, एडवाइजर श्री शेखर विद्यार्थी, एयरफोर्स अम्बाला, नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग तथा एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।
