The Punjab Raj Bhavan celebrated the Foundation Day of Telangana with great fervour. Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh presided over the function. The event showcased Telangana’s diverse cultural fabric, with artists of the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy who presented cultural dances including Dhimsa, Lambadi, Bathukamma and Dappu dance.
In his speech, the Administrator said that he was happy that such a beautiful programme was presented today on the occassion of state foundation day of Telenagana and it was celebrated with great pomp and show in Raj bhavan. Sh. Purohit said that Chandigarh is symbolic of Mini India as people from all states live here and therefore Chandigarh represents amalgamation of different cultures of India.
The Administrator said that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, we are one. He said that such cultural programs on State formation days should be organised everywhere. Sh. Purohit reiterated that ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' is about mutual familiarization among the people of the states, spirit of unity, diverse traditions, art, culture costumes and foods exchanged.
He said that every state has a unique identity, and the unity in diversity of states is the strength of India. Despite this diversity, we are all one which is the specialty of India. On this note, the Governor remembered the Rajashthan’s jhoomar, South India’s Bharatnatyam that were performed in Raj Bhavan on ealrier occasions and that all such performances give a message that India is one, there is unity in diversity and India shall again become a world guru. At last he lauded the efforts of the artists and their mentors from Sangeet Natak Akademi and said that this cultural program presented today is a result of a lot of hard work.
Dignitaries present at the event included Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India, Sh. Rajeev Verma, Adviser to Administrator UT Chandigarh, Sh. Ajay Chagti, Health Secretary, UT, Sh. Raj Kumar Singh I.G, U.T, Ms. Anindita Mitra, MC Commissioner UT, Sh. CB Ojha, Chief Engineer, UT and other officers of Chandigarh Administration.
पंजाब राजभवन ने मनाया तेलंगाना स्थापना दिवस

पंजाब राजभवन ने तेलंगाना का स्थापना दिवस बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया। श्री. पंजाब के राज्यपाल और यूटी चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक बनवारीलाल पुरोहित ने समारोह की अध्यक्षता की। इस कार्यक्रम में तेलंगाना के विविध सांस्कृतिक ताने-बाने का प्रदर्शन किया गया, जिसमें चंडीगढ़ संगीत नाटक अकादमी के कलाकारों ने ढिम्सा, लंबाडी, बथुकम्मा और दप्पू नृत्य सहित सांस्कृतिक नृत्य प्रस्तुत किए।
प्रशासक ने अपने भाषण में कहा कि उन्हें खुशी है कि आज तेलंगाना राज्य स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर इतना सुंदर कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया गया और इसे राजभवन में बहुत धूमधाम से मनाया गया. श। पुरोहित ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ लघु भारत का प्रतीक है क्योंकि यहां सभी राज्यों के लोग रहते हैं और इसलिए चंडीगढ़ भारत की विभिन्न संस्कृतियों के मिश्रण का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।
प्रशासक ने कहा कि कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक हम एक हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य स्थापना दिवस पर ऐसे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम हर जगह आयोजित किये जाने चाहिए। श। पुरोहित ने दोहराया कि 'एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत' राज्यों के लोगों के बीच आपसी परिचय, एकता की भावना, विविध परंपराओं, कला, संस्कृति वेशभूषा और खाद्य पदार्थों के आदान-प्रदान के बारे में है।
उन्होंने कहा कि हर राज्य की एक अलग पहचान है और राज्यों की विविधता में एकता ही भारत की ताकत है। इतनी विविधता के बावजूद भी हम सब एक हैं, यही भारत की विशेषता है। इस अवसर पर, राज्यपाल ने राजस्थान के झूमर, दक्षिण भारत के भरतनाट्यम को याद किया जो पिछले अवसरों पर राजभवन में प्रस्तुत किए गए थे और ऐसे सभी प्रदर्शन यह संदेश देते हैं कि भारत एक है, विविधता में एकता है और भारत फिर से विश्व गुरु बनेगा।
अंत में उन्होंने संगीत नाटक अकादमी के कलाकारों और उनके गुरुओं के प्रयासों की सराहना की और कहा कि आज प्रस्तुत यह सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम बहुत मेहनत का परिणाम है। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में श्री शामिल थे।
