In view of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Saturday convened a meeting to finalize the issuance of the rate chart in order  to ensure transparency and efficiency in the electoral process.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the rate chart, which plays a pivotal role in regulating campaign expenditures and ensuring a level playing field for all candidates. The DEO emphasized the importance of adherence to electoral regulations and ethical campaign practices.

The meeting discussed various factors influencing the determination of rates, including advertising costs, venue rentals, transportation expenses, etc. The DEO urged all stakeholders to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and adhere strictly to the prescribed guidelines.

The meeting was attended by DyDEO Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, Nodal Officer MCMC/District Information Officer Dr. Naseer Ahmad, Nodal Officer Expenditure Monitoring/DTO Sheikh Abid Manzoor and other concerned.
