Former Home and Health Minister of Haryana, Sh. Anil Vij said, "I believe that if people keep the memory of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh in their mind, they will not dare to do wrong". Vij said that Ambala Cantonment pays homage to the martyrs, and our effort is to walk the path shown by the martyrs.

On this occasion, the chant of "Inquilab Zindabad, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Amar Rahe" filled everyone with patriotism. Sh. Vij also raised slogans of "Inquilab Zindabad".

He said that the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh will always remind people that this country was liberated by sacrificing lives. He informed that this statue, costing about 68 lakh rupees, has also been made by the same artists who made the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Vij said that in the same way, we have also installed a statue of Subhash Chandra Bose in the heart of the Ambala Cantonment. This statue also inspires people to fight against the British government. He worked against the British government and raised arms.A memorial of international level is being built at a cost of 500 crores to remember them and to pay tribute, because the first freedom struggle started from Ambala in 1857.

Earlier, former Home Minister Anil Vij, addressing the people present on this occasion, said that a 12-foot-high statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh has been installed near the entrance gate of Ambala Cantt at a cost of 68 lakh rupees. This statue will communicate patriotism to everyone and will be a source of inspiration for us.

He said that this statue has been made by renowned artist Ram V. Sutar. Who had made the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Gujarat. This statue, installed in the courtyard of the secretariat, will evoke feelings of patriotism in everyone. Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh stepped into the freedom struggle at a young age.

Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh had shown courage to fight for independence from a young age, inspiring the people of Hindustan. He introduced his bravery by throwing bombs and distributing leaflets on empty seats of the Parliament in front of the British government.

If he had wanted to escape from there at that time, he could have escaped. There was complete security of the British there, but he did not escape, his purpose was to awaken the people of Hindustan for the independence of the country, and he stood there and continued to chant the slogans of revolution.

He was later arrested and tried for the murder of British officer John Saunders, on March 23, 1930, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were sentenced to death by that terrorist government and they became martyrs for the country.

To honor the martyrs, we have installed a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Subhash Park amidst the city of Ambala Cantonment. This statue has also been made by a better artist. Netaji Subhash Chandra has also worked to raise arms against the British government.

Faced armed against the British government whose sun did not rise. He freed the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, spreading the feeling of patriotism among the people of Hindustan, worked to liberate Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The first flag of independence was hoisted on this earth by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Due to the sacrifices of the unsung heroes, the British had to flee. A nation that forgets its martyrs perishes, to remember the martyrs and to become a source of inspiration for the young generation, important places have been chosen. A memorial of international level is being built at a cost of 500 crores to remember them and to pay tribute.

On this occasion, SDM Satinder Siwach, Executive Engineer Mandeep, EO Jarnail Singh, Mandal Pradhan Rajeev Dimple, Kiran Pal Chauhan, Bijendra Chauhan, BJP leader B.S. Bindra, Mamchand Sharma, Ravi Sahgal, Kapil Vij, Narendra Aroda, Ram Babu Yadav along with other dignitaries remained present.
