The National Athletes of Growth Sports Academy Kupwara today called upon the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan at her office. The meeting aimed to felicitate the exemplary athletes and engage in discussions regarding the future plans to augment sports infrastructure in Kupwara.

Led by the International Medalist, Aadil Manzoor Peer of Halmatpora Kupwara, the delegation included prominent national athletes including Zubair Ahmad Sofi, Navaid Nabi, Mohammad Ibrahim, Maroof Ahmad Khan, Zakir Hussain Wani, Haroon Showkat, Munazirah Mushtaq, Amaan Iqbal and others.

The meeting was marked by an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared commitment to the advancement of sports in the region. The DC acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the athletes, highlighting their role as ambassadors of Kupwara's sporting prowess.The DC assured to conduct a Women's Cricket League, aiming to provide a platform for aspiring female cricketers to showcase their talent. 

Furthermore, she asked the national athletes to drive positive change in both society and administration, recognizing their potential to inspire the youth and instigate transformative initiatives.Discussions revolved around strategies to bolster sports infrastructure, create more opportunities for budding athletes, and enhance training facilities across various disciplines. 

The DC assured full support from the administration to realize these objectives and emphasized the importance of sports in fostering a healthy and vibrant community.The felicitation ceremony concluded on a high note, with renewed optimism and determination to propel Kupwara to greater heights in the realm of sports.
