The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt today chaired a meeting of District Disaster Relief Committee (DDRC) in his office chamber, here. The meeting reviewed the status of relief cases and approved eight cases for compensation.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Umar Shafi Pandit; Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Shabir Ahmad Wani; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), Gh. Ahmad Lone, Executive Engineers of R&B Sumbal and Bandipora, and the concerned Tehsildars.

The ADDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the process of relief and rehabilitation of the affected people and ensure timely disbursement of compensation. He also asked them to ensure coordination and submit the progress reports regularly.

The meeting also discussed various developmental issues and schemes related to the district and sought feedback from the officers. The ADDC stressed on the need to improve the quality of public services and address the grievances of the people on priority.
