Miss Earth India 2022 Vanshika Parmar calls on Chief Minister

Miss Earth India 2022, Vanshika Parmar, a native of Dhaneta of Nadaun Sub Division in Hamirpur, called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today. She was crowned Miss Earth India at the age 19 at an event organised in The Philippines in November, 2022.

The Chief Minister said that Vanshika was a source of inspiration for other girls and said that Himachali girls were excelling in various fields at the International level becoming idols for others. The Chief Minister asked her to work for women empowerment and collaborate with the State Government for the welfare of single girl child.

Vanshika also remained the tourism ambassador of Ghana for the year of 2023 and has worked for the state of Philippines to promote eco tourism. Father of Vanshika Parmar, Group Captain Susheel Kumar Parmar and mother Ritu Parmar also accompanied her.
