Mission Director, National Health Mission, J&K, Nazim Zai Khan along with Principal Govt. Medical College, Srinagar Dr. Tanvir Masood reviewed the functioning of Tele-MANAS Cell at the Centre of Excellence, Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), Government Medical College here today.
On the occasion, the Mission Director and Principal GMC interacted with the consultants and counsellors working in Tele-MANAS Cell and also had a live demonstration of the working of call centre . They also conducted an extensive tour of the IMHANS (Centre of excellence), established through financial support of the Govt. Of India and reviewed the infrastructure, interventions and innovations being implemented there.
They also took feedback from the faculty members in order to improvise the services being delivered to the patients and beneficiaries.The Mission Director assured all possible support to the Tele-Manas Cell/ IMHANS.Principal GMC on the occasion extended gratitude to the Mission Director, NHM for his maiden visit to the Centre of Excellence.
