The Martyrs’ Day was observed across District Administration as officials observed two minutes silence to pay tributes to heroes of freedom fighters who made supreme sacrifices to secure Independence for the country. The officers and officials in the District Administrative Complex and other offices across the district Ramban observed two minute silence.
Paying tributes to National heroes, Deputy Commissioner Baseer ul Haq Chaudhary highlighted the indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment of the martyrs.The ADDC recalled the contribution of father of nation Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom fighters in the Freedom struggle of India
Similar prayers were also held at Sub Divisional and Tehsil levels and institutions across the district.
