Yamunanagar , 26 Jan 2024

Haryana Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that in the past nearly 9 years, the present state government has made transparent arrangements, made genuine efforts, promoted public participation, and demonstrated the ability to turn the impossible into possible. In the last 9 years, we have worked beyond casteism, regionalism, and nepotism.

He said that under the visionary and far-sighted leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, today we are progressing strongly towards making India of his dreams. The aspirations and ambitions of the people are bearing come true.

On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, Sh. Vij, as the chief guest at the district-level Republic Day celebration at Tejli Sports Complex in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, addressed the gathering after unfurling the national flag. He inspected the march past, saluted the parade at the police line in Jagadhri, and paid homage to the martyrs at the Shaheed Smarak.

Addressing the people present at the district-level Republic Day celebration, Haryana's Home and Health Minister Anil Vij extended greetings and best wishes for Republic Day and paid tribute to all known and unknown martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence. He said that today is a great day in the history of our country when we achieved the honor of being the citizens of the world's largest republic, India.

74 years ago, on this day, the new sun of the republic rose in our country. Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said that under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, today we are progressing strongly towards making India of his dreams.

The aspirations and ambitions of the people are bearing come true. Prime Minister Ji, by completing the construction of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya and consecrating Lord Ram Ji, has strengthened the faith of millions of countrymen.

Our freedom is secure due to the vigilant protection by the brave soldiers guarding our borders – Vij

The Home Minister said that our freedom is secure due to the hard-fought struggles of our great freedom fighters, and it is also safe day and night due to the brave soldiers guarding our borders. Today, the entire country is indebted to them. Expressing gratitude to them, we have increased the grant amount for the dependents of Haryana's soldiers and paramilitary personnel who died during the war from Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh.

Similarly, in the case of martyrdom in the IED blast, the grant amount has been increased from Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh. So far, jobs have been provided to 367 dependents of martyrs on a compassionate basis.

Adopting a policy of zero tolerance towards corruption, a transparent administration has been provided – Vij

Health Minister Anil Vij said that with the resolution of 'Seva with Sushasan,' the present government, which is responsible for public service, has worked for the progress and upliftment of every Haryanvi based on the basic principles of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek.'

A transparent administration has been provided by adopting a policy of zero tolerance towards corruption. He said that the wonder of this portal is that today the omen of a poor daughter's wedding, pension for the elderly, pension for widows, and scholarships for students go directly into their accounts with one click. Subsidies for fertilizer, seeds, machinery, compensation for crops, and money for crop procurement go directly into the farmer's account with one click.

He said that it is also the wonder of the portal that now farmers do not have to go through the hassles of patwaris to get the burden of their land. Now they can take out their burden with just one click.

In the past 9 and a half years, Haryana has witnessed positive changes with peace, harmony, equal development, and camaraderie – Vij

Anil Vij said that in the past 9 and a half years, Haryana has witnessed positive changes with peace, harmony, equal development, and camaraderie, which have made everyone's life simple, smooth, and secure. We have worked towards breaking down the wall between public service and the public, not only changing the system under the skilled leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal but also making efforts to provide a system in which the benefits of plans and services reach the public in a simple way.

Talks of the welfare of the poor have been going on since the country's independence, but their benefit did not reach the eligible recipients. A family identity card was created as per the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji's Antyodaya, ensuring the recognition of all families in the state, ensuring the benefits of plans to eligible families.

Used information technology on a large scale to minimize human intervention in administration – Vij

He said that today, the contact between the public and the government is direct. We have used information technology on a large scale to minimize human intervention in administration. Due to the non-transparent system in the past, the machinery became strong, due to which the eligible was deprived of his rights.

But today, with the transparent implementation of every government scheme, the auspiciousness of the poor daughter's wedding, the elderly, widow, and the pension of the disabled, BPL card, Chirayu card, is going directly into the account of the eligible with the computer's one click. We have also implemented a cashless system in medical facilities for government employees. He said that to provide a roof over the heads of the poor, under the 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,' more than 36 thousand houses have been built, while 16 thousand houses are being built.

So that every poor person gets ration without any problem and no one can cheat his right. For this, the ration distribution system has been made transparent through technology. Now, no person can obtain ration fraudulently.

For fulfilling the dream of educating the children of the poor in private schools, the 'Chirag Yojana' has been implemented. Not only that, priority is being given to the youth of poor families in the recruitment of employees through the Skill Employment Corporation.

In every field, revolutionary changes have been made through e-governance – Vij

He said that the government has brought revolutionary changes in every sector, including agriculture, industry, trade, employment, education, and health, through e-governance. Similar to how people are benefiting from various schemes based on the data from family identity cards, the "Meri Fasal-Mera Byora" portal has been created in the agricultural sector to link many schemes benefiting farmers directly to their accounts. The portal facilitates direct deposit of amounts such as the sale value of crops, compensation for damage, subsidy for balanced fertilization, and encouragement for direct sowing of paddy into the farmer's account.

Haryana is the first state in the country to launch the 'Chief Minister Crop Insurance Scheme' to protect horticultural crops from adverse weather conditions. Livestock farming is a significant source of income for rural areas, and to encourage it, the government has introduced the 'Livestock Farmer Credit Card Scheme' on the lines of the Kisan Credit Card.

The minister mentioned that to make the purchase of crops convenient in the state, the "Meri Fasal-Mera Byora" portal has been started. Through this portal, farmers not only sell their crops but also receive financial assistance for fertilizers, seeds, and agricultural tools. The state government's effort is not only to increase the income of farmers but also to help them at every step from seeds to the market.

Haryana is the first state in the country to purchase 14 crops at the minimum support price. Industry forms the foundation of our economy, and to accelerate industrial development in Haryana, an eco-system for 'Ease of Doing Business' has been created.

Numerous rules and procedures that created obstacles in issuing certificates, licenses, and permits have been eliminated. Today, services are being provided online to investors in Haryana, ensuring that all approvals are given within a specified period. Haryana has become the first choice for investors from India and abroad.

Government jobs given to youth based on qualifications exceeding 1 lakh 10 thousand – Vij

Anil Vij mentioned that we have recognized the qualifications and talent of the youth. Government jobs have been given to over 1 lakh 10 thousand youth based on their qualifications and talent. To protect youth from the exploitation of contractors in outsourcing services, the 'Haryana Skill Employment Corporation' has been established. Haryana has gained a prominent name in the field of sports today.

Our youth are bringing significant achievements, bringing glory to the nation and the state. Government jobs are being provided to athletes who win medals, along with monthly allowances for award-winning players. Women's participation in the development of villages has been ensured by providing 50% representation to women in Panchayati Raj institutions.

To increase livelihood opportunities for women, a provision has been made to provide one-third ration depots to women. 'Atal Kisan Majdoor Canteen' and VITA sales centers have also been entrusted to women. A college has been established within a 20-kilometer radius to provide higher education facilities for sisters and daughters. Seventy-six new colleges have been opened in the state, with more than half for girls.

The minister emphasized the government's focus on building a strong infrastructure in cities and towns in the state. Gurugram, Karnal, Faridabad, and Panchkula are being developed as smart cities. The Metropolitan Development Authority has been formed for the development of Gurugram, Faridabad, and Panchkula.

After centuries of waiting, our Ram has come – Vij

Home Minister expressed that today, after centuries of anticipation, our Ram has come. The unprecedented patience, countless sacrifices, renunciation, and penance over centuries have brought our Lord Ram to us. The reverence for Lord Ram marks the beginning of a new era.

Since the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ram Temple, enthusiasm and excitement have been growing across the country every day. He stated that the 'Vikas Rath,' 'Vishwas Rath,' on which the journey of 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' is progressing, is now being referred to as the 'guaranteed chariot' by the people.

It is believed that no one will be left behind, and everyone will benefit from the schemes. The main objective of the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' was to reach those who, for some reason, have been deprived of government schemes so far.

Anil Vij mentioned that a medical college is being built in Pajupur, Yamunanagar, at a cost of 1200 crore rupees, while Chhachrauli has been given the status of a sub-division. In Yamunanagar district, a new building with 200 beds has been constructed at a cost of 100 crore rupees, and a hospital with 100 beds will be built in Jagadhri.

Similarly, CHCs have been built in Ranjeetpur, Mandi, Alahar, Sabepur, and tenders have been floated for CHCs in Sadaura and Radaur. A water sports park has been built at Hathini Kund Barrage at a cost of around 22 crore rupees.

On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police Alok Rai, IG Shivash Kaviraj of Ambala Range, Colonel Jarnail Singh, Subedar Major Shahnaz Hussain, BJP District President Rajesh Sapra, former Chairperson of the Social Welfare Board Rozy Malik Anand, former Chairman of Haryana Traders Welfare Board Ramnivas Garg, Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Madan Chauhan, BJP leader Rameshwar Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Captain Manoj Kumar, Superintendent of Police Gangaram Puniya, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ayush Sinha, ACUT Jyoti, CEO of District Council Navin Ahuja, SDM Jagadhri Yash Jaluka, City Magistrate Piyush Gupta, DIPRO Sunil Bastarda, APIRO Manoj Pandey, Secretary of District Red Cross Society Ranbir Singh, District Child Welfare Officer Sukhmandir Singh, along with officers from other departments were present.
