MLA Kulwant Singh Mohali flagged off Eighth group of pilgrims from Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district on Thursday here at Prachin Shiv Mandir Mataur (Mohali) under Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra scheme. Reiterating  commitment of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann towards Punjab people, he said that Chief Minister has been delivering each and every promise made to the people of Punjab, be it  free power, door to door delivery of Citizen Centric Services and many more. 

He said the Punjab Government has honoured the will of the Punjab people who wanted to go on pilgrimage but were unable to go due to their financial constraints. He said that every constituency have been made available eight buses each to ferry people to their holistic pilgrimage place.

Interacting with the pilgrimage gathered there for boarding Bus, he wished them best of luck and apprised that the Punjab Government has arranged boarding and lodging for this two-day religious tour. He also handed over a kit comprises of a blanket, a pillow and a bedsheet besides toiletry kit to each pilgrim before boarding the bus. He added that the two-day long pilgrimage will have night stay arrangements at Salasar Dham.

A pilgrimage, Rani Kaushik who was in jubilant mood to have an opportunity of being a part of today’s pilgrimage group, said that they all have immense regard for Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for enabling  them with the opportunity of free of cost religious tour. She said that the decision of Punjab Chief Minister would definitely prove benevolent for many of the pilgrims like her, who want to pay obeisance to their sacred religious places.
