Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Youth Services and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur and Cabinet Minister Rajesh Dharmani, who is Minister in waiting accorded a warm welcome to the Vice President at Helipad.
Local MLA, Ashish Sharma, Divisional Commissioner, Rakhil Kahlon, Deputy Inspector General, Northern Range, Abhishek Dhullar, Deputy Commissioner, Hemraj Bairwa, Superintendent of Police, Akriti Sharma, Director, NIT, Hamirpur Prof. H.M.
