In a New Year bonanza for Ludhianvis, a slew of development projects were inaugurated for the city residents. The much awaited Pakhowal Road Rail Over Bridge (RoB) has been thrown open for vehicular traffic today. This RoB was inaugurated by MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi in the presence of MLAs Madan Lal Bagga, Ashok Parashar Pappi and Hardeep Singh Mundian, besides several others.
Besides, for providing best healthcare for residents of Ludhiana (West) constituency, MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi also dedicated “Clinic on Wheels”. A newly constructed Community Centre in Rani Jhansi Enclave was also inaugurated today.
While providing details, MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi stated that the Pakhowal Road Rail Over Bridge was long pending demand of the area residents. He said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government is committed for providing best infrastructure to its residents and special emphasis is being given towards strengthening the road infrastructure.
He informed that a “Clinic on Wheels” bus has also been dedicated for the residents. He said that a big bus has been converted into a movable clinic where the residents would get best medical treatment, tests and medicines totally free of cost. He said that as of now, one such bus has been dedicated for the residents but in the coming days, more such buses would be developed for the welfare of residents.
He said that this “Clinic on Wheels” would visit one ward each on daily basis and provide treatment to the residents. He said that this “Clinic on Wheels” would visit the doorsteps of those residents who cannot visit the Aam Aadmi Clinics pertaining to some injury of old age.
The MLA said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government is committed for providing best healthcare to its residents and that is why, hundreds of Aam Aadmi Clinics have been set up in different parts of the state.
The MLAs also inaugurated a newly constructed Community Centre in Rani Jhansi Enclave area of the city. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Tanvir Singh Dhaliwal, Amrit Varsha Rampal, Kiran Gill besides several others.
