ADDC Kishtwar reviews progress under District Capex Plan 2023-24

Emphasised for 100 percent completion of alloted works with strict adherence to quality

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Sham Lal today chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress of works under the Area Development Plan/ District Capex budget for the year 2023-24, here in his Office Chamber.

During the meeting, the ADDC took sector wise review of Physical and financial progress of works in RDD, Education, YS&S, Health and other sectors under District Capex. The ADDC took a detailed review of allotment of works, works started on ground and works completed so far and other related issue.

He was apprised by the Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal that 1368 works out of 1917 alloted works have been completed so far under District Capex for financial year 2023-24 and the pace on rest is in full swing which will be completed soon.

Further ADDC Kishtwar was apprised that 11 number of Aspirational Block Development Programme works out of allotted 17 works have been completed and 09 number of Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme works out of allotted 17 works  stands completed so far under Capex Budget.

ADDC directed the officers to achieve the cent percent  targets in time bound manner and Special thrust was laid on the billing of the completed works. The concerned officers were directed to commensurate the financial expenditure according to physical targets achieved.

The ADDC stressed upon officers to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace on rest of work besides personally monitoring the quality and progress of all allotted works. Among others the meeting was attended by ACD Kishtwar Manoj Kumar, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, ExEns of REW, PWD and all BDOs besides other concerned District officers.
