Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Sham Lal chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress of works under the Area Development Plan/ District Capex budget for the year 2023-24. The ADDC took sector wise review of Physical and financial progress of works in RDD, Education, YS&S, Health and other sectors under District Capex.
The focus was on review of allotment of works, works started on ground and works completed, tendering and other related issue. The Joint Director planning informed that about 90 percent of the works approved under District Capex for financial year 2022-23 are nearing completion.
The officers were directed to achieve the 100 percent targets in a time bound manner with special thrust on the billing of the completed works. The concerned officers were directed to commensurate the financial expenditure according to physical targets achieved.
The indenting departments were asked to ensure 100 percent of physical progress and financial expenditure of all allotted works by December 15 of 2023 ahead of the winter season in the district. The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; ACD Kishtwar Manoj Kumar, ExEns of REW,PWD and all BDOs besides other concerned District officers.
