Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan today laid the foundation stone for the Sodipora-Waragam Road, a significant project under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). This initiative marks a pivotal step towards enhancing connectivity between numerous villages, fostering better integration and accessibility within rural areas.

The Sodipora-Waragam Road holds tremendous promise, offering a vital link that connects communities previously isolated due to infrastructural limitations. By bridging these gaps, the road is poised to revolutionize connectivity and provide greater opportunities for socio-economic development in the region.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of various dignitaries, including DDC Sukhnag Rozia Jan, Executive Engineer PMGSY Budgam, PRI members, and distinguished senior citizens. Speaking at the ceremony, DDC Chairman expressed his enthusiasm for the project's potential to transform lives by facilitating better access to essential services and opportunities.

He extended his gratitude to the Honourable LG administration involved and reaffirmed the administration's unwavering dedication to advancing infrastructure for the betterment of the community.
